I have uploaded an animated .gif for my new Avatar but, it does not animate. Is there something "special" about these files that I am unaware of and need to know about to get them to work? I see many other folks' gif's that animate just fine. I have tried a few that I created and a few that were created elsewhere.....none of them animate for me. EDIT: As you can see, the little one in my sig. animates there and it animates when I open it on my computer but, when I upload it as my Avatar...it does not animate.....WHY??

With photo editing software......I specifically used GIMP v2.6 in this case.

I like that a lot. It's different from the usual boring lame backgrounds with the Big E or the EVGA tossed in the middle. The one done of the Race Track with the driver putting his gloves on is still my Favorite though. Wonder who made that one.

Seem's too be my problem, I usualy can't come up with anything good. Why I never really bother trying to make anything. Well for wallpapers anyways.

Ok.....thank you very much. Since I posted the question...I went to the link in post #1 and on page #9 there are some animated Avatars. I downloaded a few of them, uploaded...and those do animate for me. I checked those file properties and couldn't see anything different or special about them compared to the ones I have created that are not animating as uploaded Avatars.....wierd.
