Hello.

I know evga used to have some software that would OC and be able to change fan speeds and whatnot.
But, I dont recall what the software was called or where to get it?

I have a Titan X (evga regular version) and would like to be able to profile the fans to be faster than what they are, when I am gaming only.

Any help is appreciated.

Dave

P.S.
A dumb question:
I am going to be getting a new monitor.
Currently I have a Dual Link DVI, and I will be going to Display Port with the new monitor.
I 'think' there wont be any issues if I create a fan profile for the video card with the evga software, but 'could' I encounter any issues going from dvi to display port?

    Hi Dave3d,

The program you are describing is PrecisionX. You would be able to find it at www.evga.com/precision/.

The ports you are using on the card should have any impact on your system unless you are running higher resolutions/refresh rates.

Well, I am going from a 'supposed' 120hz 2560x1600 monitor (but, really, its only 60hz, Monoprice lies) DL DVI to a real Acer 144hz 2560x1440 Display Port monitor.
(I know I should change the resolution before swapping monitors, but was curious if there would be any PrecisionX issues just from changing from dvi to display port).
And thanks for the PrecisionX info. Its been a ling time since I had to use it.
    :)

I would not expect any issues when switching between the two ports. PrecisionX should run fine with your configuration.

Just a heads up here..Since you haven't used PrecisionX in a long time, be aware there's a Pandora's box of issues that are/have been reported with it in the EVGA Software section of the forums and elsewhere..Not everybody has issues with it..If you discover issues with the new/newer versions of PrecisionX, uninstall it and then delete the Program Files (x86)\EVGA\PrecisionX 16 folder and reboot (advisable), and then you can try MSI Afterburner along with the included RivaTuner Statistics Server (which has more features than PrecisionX) or the older, more stable PrecisionX v4.2.1 along with the included RivaTuner Statistics Server which I have here for download on my OneDrive page..There's a brief introduction to EVGA PrecisionX 16 here on YouTube from TeamEVGA you might find helpful also.

    What kind of issues?
I am not going to oc the card.
I just want a little bit more fan speed while gaming, to help move along more heat out of the system.

Browse the Software forum..Game crashing/not launching, clock speed, fan control, adverse effects on other programs, On-screen display, blah blah blah..As I said, just a heads up, not everybody has problems but very many have been reported.
