Hi there,
i recently opened a support ticket for replacing my GTX 1080 FTW because of random crashes, which result in a black screen and the fans spinning up to 100%. The support answered quickly and offered me the RMA process without further troubleshooting, great!
After i received a free return shipping label and sending in my RMA request, the request was approved. That was on the 3th of November.
After paying the collateral for the Advanced RMA, i received the shipping email from EVGA on the 7th of November together with an UPS tracking number.
Since then, the tracking says "Order Processed: Ready for UPS".
Since the last RMA shipped within 3-4 business days with no problems, i wrote a ticket again on the 13th of November, asking if someone could check if the card was really sent out. Now begins the interesting part:
I wrote every ticket until now in German and received always a response in German, since i live in Germany and i know that the EU support is located in Munich.
This response however was in English, saying that the guy answering me is sorry and is forwarding my issue to the RMA department. I should allow them 1-2 business days.
I got this response on the 14th of November. Since then, radio silence.
This time i tried to call the German support hotline on Friday the 18th of November at 4 PM... 2 hours till closing time. After selecting to speak with the German support, i waited about 15 minutes. After that, a friendly guy from the American support picked up my call.
I explained him my situation and gave him the serial number of my current card. He saw that something was off and told me that he contacted both the (RMA?) manager of Europe and America, providing my email address. Since it was 7 am in the morning at his office, he said i got a slight chance of a answer this day... again until now, radio silence.
What else am i able to do now? The email says my replacement card is shipped, UPS tracking says its ready for shipping the package. The German/European support is somehow not reachable and no one has been able to give me an answer, where the package is located now.
I hope someone has an idea how to approach this situation.
Greetings from Germany!
