Hey guys,

I just reinstalled windows on my PC and after windows updates, sound on my computer stopped working.  I use the back plugs for sound.  I tried reinstalling the realtek hd driver but that didn't seem to fix the issue.  I'm still completing some windows updates so that might fix it but I doubt it considering I'm pretty sure it has to do with the evga driver itself.

Any comments are greatly appreciated, thanks!

    zand3r,
Welcome to the forums! You may want to check your device manager and search for 'HD Audio' (specifically used for HDMI audio). This is an audio driver that gets installed with the nvidia driver. You will want to 'disable' this driver and see if you are able to get your sound back. If this does not work, You may want to consider removing the realtek driver and doing a fresh installation.
