No new boards, no new news on boards. I've seen new motherboards from competition like MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte, ect. All seem to have new boards packed with features like Bluetooth, USB 3.1, M.2 X 4. Even some fancy lighting. Where's EVGA? Hopefully designing the next cool motherboard! I've had EVGA MoBo's from the beginning of my building days and have been shopping for my next build. I currently own the X99 Classified. But I don't see a board in the current EVGA product line that I would call an upgrade to the motherboard I've had for about a year now.

Case: Cooler Master Cosmos 2
Mobo: EVGA X99 Classified
CPU: Intel Core i7-5930K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.5 GHz
CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H105
GPU(s): EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Classified
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1200 P2 Power Supply
Memory: G. Skill Ripjaws V Series 32gb DDR4 @3000mhz
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64bit
Monitor: Dell UltraSharp U3415W 34-Inch Curved

I can confirm that we are continuing to develop and will release new motherboards however we currently do not have any available information to provide on non-released products at this time.  Please stay tuned to the EVGA.com site and here for updates for new motherboards.  If you are on a network here you can like or follow us and we will announce new products there as well as on our site and here.

Didn't they just release the z170 classified a few months ago?

    for about a year now.

uh, if Intel isn't releasing a new socket design what do you expect EVGA to do. Release their own design?

Not my fault if you're offended.

Probably coming out with something to coincide with the new Kaby Lake processors... that's my guess anyway.

I've seen a friend's build with the Asus Aura across his Motherboard and Gpu, its cool to see the RGB patterns set to match between devices. I'm not necessarily a die-hard RGB fan, but being able to time the "EVGA GTX Hybrid" flashes / pulses on the side of my GPU with case lighting or Mobo would be sweet!

Would love to see a new EVGA X99 motherboard that can compete directly with Asus (Rampage V Editon 10) and MSI (Godlike) flagship boards.
I am personally running an Asus Rampage V Edition 10, though had EVGA offered a comparable X99 motherboard I would have gone with EVGA no questions asked, even at a price premium.

EVGA Customer service, warranty, and tech support is light years ahead of any other hardware provider in the industry and for that reason alone, I go EVGA where the option is available.

    Sincerely,

just curiosu, what doe s the rampage v offer for your use that the x99 classified didn't? I haven't gotten a board for my 6850k yet so just wondering if its justified to spend 2x as much on a rampage v.  Right now i'm eyeing the evga classified.

I have the EVGA X99 Classified MB and love it. ROG is why you would pay x2 the cost you are paying for a Name.
I have 2 ROG Motherboards a Z77 Extreme Dead Now and an X79 Formula that I still have and in use, though the X79 Dark is a much better Board.

makes sense...just wanted to ssee if someoen knew somethign i didn't.  I'm still set on the x99 classified.  Will get it before the weekend is out. And if evga releases a new version within the next 90 days i should be fairly safe with the step up.  Got my shiney new 6850k in the mail today...can't wait for finals to be over next week and have time to be able to put it to good use..hehe.

If you can wait till the 2nd Quarter of 2017 then you may see some new Intel Chipset come out and then 3rd Quarter of 2017 some new EVGA Motherboards...
For me this would be way to long to wait. Also the Sockets will be different as well as the newer CPU coming out next year.
But then the OP has an EVGA X99 Classified Motherboard so I see no need to update what he has now.
Maybe a New GPU Next Year but that would be it.

Funny you say that, as I could use a Motherboard that I can Install Windows 98SE to use PowerBasic.

That be too long to wait. Plus i just got my 6850k so would need a board for current chipset. I also generally buy most of my stuff in november with all the sales. So if i did wait...id be waiting till like q4 again and that is a stretch.

Im also hunting for places to put my e3-1270s. I have 2 that are still in the box because i dont have boards/cases for them =(. Current plan is to get my 6850k inside my main rig....wife gets my 4790k and then ill bring the other 2 server chips online and move the 2600k to my plex server. Wonder if they sell a 2p board for 1155. Ill have to look, im very new to the server world of things...
