Is it going to be a re-branded tim?

Shane told me that it wasn't rebadged, so apparently its either a new formula Evga came up with themselves, or one of there OEM's like Swiftech did.

Toothpaste is water based, if you aren't aware, water is an excellent thermal conductor, especially in thin films. Ever heard of someone using ketchup as a thermal interface material? Until a decent amount of the water evaporates, it will actually run pretty much equal, it not in some cases outperform, most "performance" thermal interface materials. Same principles apply to the use of toothpaste. Only thing i'd be concerned is the use of silica in whitening toothpastes, as that could cause scouring of the IHS.

Edit: And no, I'm not suggesting you use toothpaste as a TIM, i'm just saying it's possible to use it, effectively, for short periods of time.

And it wouldn't "Literally" ignite a P4, there are thermal protections that would cause a thermal shutdown far before you would come close to the ignition temperatures of anything on the chip.

Frostbite is our own special blend, but it isnt the same as what ships with the cooler.

Any chance of a drawing to give a few tubes away to members here?  Nothing fancy, just enter your Screen name for a chance to win one of say 20 tubes. Then they can post up some real world reviews.
