TPU member just posted "Heard from a PSU reviewer they [EVGA] are done in that market, figure I post it here rather then start a new thread." in a thread on TPU.

I figured I'd hop on the EVGA forums and see if any news is floating around here about it. After looking around for a bit I didn't really see anything else so I figured I'd make a new post.

So, is EVGA finally cutting ties with everything and slowly fading away? Or is this just all hearsay?

It’s been a slow smolder. I still support the motherboards and PSUs. Not seeing many updates other than this kind of stuff.

There was a claim a number of months ago that Microcenter removed all EVGA power supplies from their inventory due to a supposed notification of plan to exit the PSU market and no firm plans for ongoing PSU support.  I wonder if both rumors are true or fabricated.  They do both go hand in hand.

Members on here have speculated that EVGA will close up shop within 1-3 years. EVGA has lost a ton of market share by exiting GPU and motherboard market. EVGA also lowered warranty length on new power supplies released in past year or two. EVGA quit doing twitch stream or anything to try and gain new customers or keep existing ones.
