I have a 970 ftw and would like to know if EVGA is going to do any kind of refund/replacement. I got mine from newegg.
Also will the 970 be fixed in the future?

No refund that I know of, but you can always inquire about an extended step up as some people were able to get it.

In other news, the 970 is not broken...it was not marketed accurately.  It actually works quite well.  If you're unhappy with it, or if you are trying to use it for what it is not intended for (4K gaming as an example), there are other cards on the market that may suit your needs.  Otherwise, you're stuck with what you paid for.

    EVGA DG-87 Gaming Case, Intel I7 6800K OC'ed @4Ghz, Corsair hydro H115, EVGA X99 Classified, 1200W EVGA SuperNOVA platinum, MSI GTX 1080 Hybrid SeaHawk x 2 in SLI, Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB (4x8GB), Samsung 850 Evo 2.5" 1TB, Asus ROG PG348Q.

If you're having trouble with your card we'd be more than happy to help you troubleshoot it or you can always call EVGA for assistance. I have to agree with drmarc, there is nothing wrong with the GTX 970, they lied on the specifications but they dont severely impact performance. I bought my GTX 970 on launch day and it's been great.
