I hate to be so blunt, and again this goes back to my first point..., but it just sounds like the OP is butt hurt because the Admin was immature to do such a matter (make your own call on that take) pulled out some vulgarity during the final blow and having the TK on the OP... as if the kill wasn't good enough? Sorry, that's what it sounds like. So, OP...get your big gun, and just kill him non stop. Then you'll have the last laugh. That's what I would do at least, and do it with a sniper rifle.

its rated M for mature, and the ESRB even stated on the product that they have no control what goes on during multiplayer. This is the perfect example.

The game is Rated M (Mature) blood, violence and strong vulgar language - listed right on the game itself. So, if you buy the game you expect those things in the game. Complaining about cursing, violence etc. is just petty nitpicking. If you cannot stand what the game tells you is in it, dont buy the game. I for one am an adult, cursing, violence, sexual inuendo's etc. do not bother me. I am not a thin skinned, mentally sensitive person who cannot deal with something thats included with what i purchased. I am not saying you, or anyone else here is thin skinned / mentally sensitive etc. Im saying that by purchasing the a product with the ratings it has, you know you will experience the above things.

We cannot have a "partly" PG server when 1 admin is on, and a M server with another...

For example, last night I died to something that would never happen. I simply stated, "oh thats bulls***". 1 post in like 2hrs time. I was immediately told by an admin "h41fbak3d, tone is WAY down or you will be kicked". However, chat was riddled with people saying "suck my d***", "piece of s***" and many other things by other players both before, during and after my 1 statement. Nobody else was warned. I spoke up and asked about it and than a statement of "lets all just calm down" and some of those same people kept on without any warnings.

It's nice to see a random person validate what some of us have been saying. EVGA can't say the "trouble makers" are complaining just to complain to brush it off.  If you have admins that nitpick players, that doesn't make for a fun game server to play on. If a player is going on a rant cursing up a storm, sure warn them, but if they only say a few bad words, leave them be. If you yell at players over something petty, it will only make things worse.

From 2008-2014 evga never had a problem with how the community managed the game servers. The server admins would only warn a player if every other word they typed or said was a cuss word. All the old server admins can confirm that.

I played for a bit last night and noticed that the admins were being lenient with language (not warning for every single curse word) until Arctic_Eagle was complaining after every time someone said a single curse word.  So then the admin would give a warning to the server to clean up the language.  So first we need players like Arctic to stop complaining about every single curse word (or find a server more suited for him), then maybe the admins will be more lenient with the language.

Is there a way you can turn off the chat? Because dealing with those type of comments because they got killed would be atrocious to the gameplay.

If you hold down H key, you can disable in-game chat.

Further proof that admins choose what rules they actually want to follow. I was banned for something that wasn't against the rules because certain admins don't like me. They'll say it was against the "spirit" of the rules but it wasn't, that's just an excuse. While they're arguing I broke their non-existent rules they completely ignore people blatantly violating the rules, by cussing or camping inside the spawn. Just last night I saw:
Admin idling (it was complained about by other players not me) (never addressed)
Negative remarks directed at other players (addressed after complaints)
Team stacking (fixed by an admin that joined later in the night)
Team killing (never addressed)
Staying in spawn and shooting from it (only warned despite multiple complaints)
Enemy camping outside main spawn (never addressed)

My question is why are the rules not being enforced equally and fairly?

Sounds to me you need to make fake accounts (newbie accounts), go in with the big guns and pick them off repeatedly. Seriously, I would be thinking outside the box on stuff like this and be having way too much picking them off with fake accounts. What are they going to do? Ban a fake account?

Hello everyone,

We have reviewed the feedback on both sides of the subject. EVGA continues to update and evolve the rules for our players and admins. Please keep in mind that any rules put forth are to try and make the servers a more enjoyable place to play. If you have any questions or feedback feel free to email us at EGC@evga.com.

Why even mention evga has reviewed the feedback on both sides, if evga has zero plans to make any changes. If evga really wants to make the server more enjoyable for the community to play on, how about asking the community what they think about new rules before adding them to server rules page.

One person complained about Mobile AA staying inside own team main base, instead of seeing how the community felt about it, what did we see evga do. They made a server rule banning it on the servers.  When you give the community no say, don't be surprised if they don't care about the servers.

I have seen the amount of complaints outweigh the resolutions, and when you see multiple groups of people complain about the fact that additional rules are just being added rather than seeing "solutions" happen, that's a problem.

I actually just see the same people complain on here about how the rules are laid out, most of the feedback happens on the server.

So it's complaining on here but on the server it's feedback...

Rules are rules, they need to be enforced for all not some. That being said, it's hard to prove the person was malicious with the tbag...

Eh, reading that again i botched that.
Just because theres only x amount of threads on here doesnt mean thats all the feedback they've recieved.
And i dont really see new people come here to complain about what actually got changed.

Why would they? Its easier to just leave the server and never come back which is what we have seen happen. Just to give you a bit of history, EVGA's servers were pretty popular up until BF3 had the M26 mass glitch. Lots of threads were created during that time asking for it to be banned. EVGA waited until DICE made an official statement then a bit after that before they banned the glitch. During that time the server sat empty since no one wanted to deal with the glitch. Not long after that internal drama led to several long term admins leaving. BF3 was at the end of its life cycle, regulars no longer wanted to start the server, etc. When BF4 came out a lot of the regulars decided against buying it so the servers never got started so people never favorite them and now the server is empty unless people think they can get some free stuff. For a server to work you need around 6 people willing to start it and that's just not happening any more.

Perhaps you need some "new" people to participate to resolve what is happening now?

May I suggest creating a thread somewhere calling it, for example, "looking for new participants/new recruits for BF4", and see what kind of results you get.

Did the admin do something that was not allowed in the rules? Maybe everyone that crouches over a dead player should be permanently banned because it hurts other people's feelings? And next, kick everyone that snipes you because that wasn't fair. We need more people like you in this life.
