Any news on SSD compatibility problems? That's what I'm having problems with.
Tried on 2 intel 550 series and 1 530 series connected alone.
Would not format under windows 8.1/8/7 settings screen.

I just went from 1.05 to this and cannot get a stable overclock. I flashed bios 2 with this and cannot get the same overclock I had on 1.05. I had a mild overclock at 4.2 and was running great. Was planning on updating bios and getting to 4.4-4.5. I am water cooled. After a few hours of messing with new bios without success  I flipper it back to the old. I am assuming there is OC issues on the new rev?

Is there an additional download link? Each time I attempt to download the v1.10, it is corrupted. It will say 'done' before actually downloading all of it. I tried the one in the 'Downloads' section and the one on this page.

    ---UPDATE---
Never mind, I was able to download it from a different browser

    Re: EVGA Z87 FTW - BIOS 1.10 Released 2014/06/18 14:09:43 (permalink)
How about the Intel Broadwell processors for the desktop PC, or for the Z97 and ZH97 motherboards that were recently released in the market? Unfortunately for PC enthusiasts and System builders, we will have to wait for one more year (starting today), since the BDW-H 4+3e LGA platform will be released by week 21 to week 26 of 2015, or somewhere in June of 2015.
This means that we won’t be seeing Broadwell processors for desktop PC for another year. And if you are going to buy the upcoming Intel Core i7-4790K or Core i5-4690K this June, you will have 1 year to enjoy the processors until the next generation 14nm CPUs comes out. For those who are going to buy a Z97 or H97 based motherboard anytime soon, don’t you worry because the 5th Gen. Broadwell processors are fully compatible with the Intel 9 series motherboards. Unfortunately for 8 series motherboard users, they may no longer be backwards compatible.

Yes - i flash the 1.10 BIOS via USB Stick - no POST..

    Board hangs at errorcode "d6"

Highest BIOS version that works for me is 1.06 - but no warmstart possible, causes to hang-up the board at errorcode "FF"

Glad that EVGA Support asks me about the "Windows Event Viewer" when submitting a Ticket regarding this issue.. totally makes sense, as my Mainboard does not boot at all -.-

Whats going on with EVGA in the recent, are we regressing to mediocre massmarked support? Sad, i experienced different in the Years before..

You can see when you go into your BIOS. It will be on your lower right corner.

I cannot get this bios to install within windows or from a boot cd.  Why didn't evga create a bootable cd iso like they've done in the past with other mb's?  FWIW I'm running 1.01 and it will still boot with the 4790k however it will not restart without hanging but I can shut down just fine.

Try this it worked for me! This will fix all the problems you have described.

    USB Flash/DOS Drive Installation
    • Create a bootable disk.
    • Extract the above .zip file to your bootable disk.
    • From a DOS prompt, run update.bat
    • Press Y to start the flash process
    • DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR RESET DURING THE FLASH PROCESS
    • After the flashing is finished, shut the system down completely. Then power on again.

How do I create a bootable disc with those files on it?  I'm using nero and it will not allow me to add them to the iso of the msdos6.2 boot cd I'm using.  I tried it with imageburn but that didn't work either.

If you don't have a flash drive. Unzip the files and burn onto a cd. Boot off the cd and follow the instructions above.
