I'm having an issue with the my cpu OC speed not being reported in E-Eleet X or or CPU ID when I overclock using the multiplier with my evga z87 FTW and 4770k.  If I overclock using the BLCK it reports the OC mhz in Eleet.  But if I change the multiplier it only appears as 3500mhz instead of the actual OC speed from the multiplier.

I noticed than when I enable intel speed step that's when any change of the cpu multiplier appears on the top of the screen in the Bios and also in e-leet. But if I disable speed step my multiplier doesn't change in the bios or isn't reported in e-leet. Help pls.

    Re: EVGA Z87 FTW - BIOS 1.04 Released 2014/08/22 15:41:58 (permalink)
I need a bit of help regarding this

I got the EVGA Z87 FTW today with an 4790k - BIOS Ver. shown in UEFI BIOS = 1.04

I have the strange Issue, that when i reset (from Windows, or Button - or when even BIOS resets) my Monitor goes into Sleep Modus, as there is no Signal incoming. (Using a Titan with DisplayPort on PCIE 16x / Slot1) - have to power-cycle, then it works to boot into W7 again

Now i downloaded 1.10 (newest BIOS available here under Support/ Downloads - and flashed it via "windows update") when reloading, the Board does not boot.. Errorcode "d6" strange Beeps.. stuck.. (cleared CMOS ofc)

Why cant i upgrade the BIOS to 1.10? What strange issue is this with Reset/stuck behaviour? Does a newer BIOS Ver. fix this?

    Please advise...

PS: managed just now to flash 1.07 - works so far.. (issue that display goes off after reset still there - disabled internal GPU, primary GPU is PCIE)

nope, same when flashing via USB.. can't boot with 1.10: beeping, and errorcode "d6" which says absolutely nothing useful..

but before flashing it sais in the cmd in yellow font: "PDR Region does not exist"

highest version i can boot into is 1.07 but having still no possibility of warm-start with this BIOS version either

is this warm-issue smth known with this board? and is this 1.10 BIOS corrupt which is downloadable in the support section?

never had smth weird like that with any EVGA Board tbh, seems to be a not so popular version as almost no tests and experiences are detectable in the internet
