Is that a bluetooth button on the left there, and will there be a carbon edition?
It doesn't look as beastly as the TORQ X10 Carbon, but I'm still going to get it.

A bluetooth button would be incredibly useful to if to hook up external devices to the system on a peripheral, but only as a nice to have.

Tweet from jacob:
Seta8967: JAcob, any update on that keyboard and mouse? I'm sure many of evga forums would like an update.
Jacob: No other mice in works just keyboard, and still no solid ETA just yet, will update again soon.

Note I meant laptop not mouse, old habit to combine keyboard and mouse.

If no one made those apps for G15, i don't see them being made for EVGA Z10.
You would probably have better luck using a smart phone or small tablet to do most of the stuff you wanted.
RSS Feed
Clock/Weather
System information
Use a phone dock or tablet stand in front of the keyboard.

As far as system information on a smartphone / tablet docked in front of you - check out NZXT CAM.  I run this on my PC at home with a GRID+ to a spare old WiFi only droid phone.  It can be a little glitchy but very cool / useful.

I've seen the G15 keyboards and have been VERY tempted to buy but the lack of a mechanical switch option has been a complete turn-off.  If EVGA releases this with a good RGB control software OR white LED I would be buying one no doubt.

ASUS launch some new mechanical keyboard...Horus GK2000... I don't like that type of keyboards but they didn't want to install LCD screen and build same as I recommend to EVGA. Little holder for smartphone and they will design applications for him and people will use Iphone 5 or 6 or some similar cell phone as screen, if they want.
Simply today people will less show less negative comments if new model no screen at all then some with screen on lower resolution.

As I say EVGA should build complete classic keyboard in aluminum case.
With one LED light or not LED light at all. It would be nice if they could build keyboard cable to people replace whole mechanical switches and use Blue example and later replace with Red... I mean completely custom keyboard with best PBT keycaps and capability to people replace and use different colors. She could cost and 250$ but if someone could use one week Blue and second Brown, third Red switches customers will pay that...I would never payed again childish strictly gaming keyboard. I think some famous company for production different type of keyboards should be engaged.
I mean on keyboard build to people use 10-20 years, to completely change switches, stabilizers.
This is aluminum case for keyboards by Vortex... They made in Silver and Black color.
They should use such type of cases with best board inside.

And people who know to recognize nice keyboard would like something like that.
Most companies build keyboard with different switches with intention to people buy two keyboards if they want different.
But if someone ask 50$ more for capability to customers replace whole switches relatively easy (I'm not sure how that could be done)than people with like that.

No updates as of yet. Probably no wireless version, as this is meant for low latency and the evbot, if it ever happens, will have to be wired.

Just think, this keyboard was announced at Computex 2014. That's a long time to keep customers waiting.

What Keyboard? Lol the keyboard teased in 2014 had rollers to match the torque x10 for volume control.

The keyboard in this post was a completely different version teased a year later.

Neither came to fruition.

It would be nice if someone from EVGA could at least comment and say the thing still exists and is being worked on or something.

It's funny how often this exact phrase is posted. Unfortunately, EVGA usually doesn't respond to these :-( it's been a while since the last time it was even mentioned by EVGA. I personally will not hold out hope myself. If it is released, I will just celebrate when it comes out.

I am honestly curious if the evbot killed the board. There was a large claim that the evbot would work with all cards and wouldn't need the specific firmware updates per card. I don't see how that would work, so I feel that brought it to a halt while they try to figure out how to work that feature.

I don't need the EVBot anyway. I would settle for a stripped down version without it. I fear that this keyboard is so perfect that each and every time someone sits down at it they spend hours in a daze and is why it hasn't been released yet.

The lack of news about this keyboard and the fact it wasn't displayed at Computex 2016 (that i can find), makes a person wonder if it was canned.

Even Vince "K|ngp|n" Lucido flat out says to use the Classified Voltage Tool, that you do not need an EVBOT. We need to move past that, as a free software has completely taken over a piece of hardware that was $50 and is now costing people $150-200.

This was talking about the 980ti classified. Funny, there was a 1.24v limit, and now people are kicking and screaming about the 1080 having 1.25v limit.

He does say that the voltage was not locked on the 980ti, but it has a firmware limit lower than the 1080.

I should sell my EVBot.

Overclock.net, Classified and Kingpin owners thread, post one, in the 980ti Classified section.

Let's see if this link will work: Here

shoot, I knew that, I have that page saved as a favorite but haven't been there in quite some time. I added voltage to my 680 classys, those things were bullet proof, have not tried to do much with these 980ti classys, no reason really. I was able to get 1550/2000 pretty easy with one card, it didn't like it too much with both cards at those settings. What kind of overclocks are you able to achieve?

thanks for the reply though :-)
