I have heard cherry switches then I heard kailh switches now im hearing cherry again, anyone know for sure? I too am kinda interested in a RELEASE DATE? I heard same time as kingpin but that has passed. Been waiting for a new evbot for sooo long and its almost here..... now that gpu's dont like more than 1.2v+-  If im gonna invest money in this, with its now minimal usability (on water) please at least let it have cherry mx switches?

must be nice being able to chuck ur KB like that, I have a Leopold fc660c... No way in hell am I swapping it for some blingy cherry mx trash
The LEDs may be nice for late night benching though..... Stilll I love my topres
I am going to have a hell of a time explaining my 3rd KB purchase in 3 months I just got an hhkb pro 2 as well...

If you ask me EVGA keyboard should have holder and connector for Iphone, 4, 4s, 5, 5s and similar models and software for readings. Nobody could build so sophisticated and quality screen, I mean on keyboard manufacturer, only need nice software to use that and customers will have nice keyboard with best monitor if they want. Off course software compatible with most smart phones but mainly for Iphone. Because they are icon and others are BAD.

You could make your own stand to hold a smartphone, use the following software to display system information. https://play.google.com/s...gonesoft.rsm&hl=en You can probably use a old smartphone or small tablet using Wi-Fi. I have never tried it myself.

I think that is why Logitech quit making it's keyboard with LCD screen. The little generic screen can't match the screen on a smart phone or tablet. I don't like most Mechanical keyboards available on market. Most of manufacturers concentrate on Macro keys and RGB effects. I need something useful 10 years with simple LED light, cherry MX switches, metal or aluminum frame and nice fonts and of course excellent response time. Because of that I like Cherry MX Board 6.0 and Deck Hassium Pro. But CORSAIR K70 have one big advantage compare to them, surface is flat and it's easier for cleaning. and without removing switches. I should replace keyboard in next few months not because I like that... Because few buttons not work, space is stuck, there are big difference in keys I use often than others... I would not like to repeat same. If keyboard work nice after 5 year no need for replace. Deck example make two great keyboards...Hassium and Francium One is good for desktop PC, other is smaller and nice to put in rucksack with laptop because most people hate to use keyboards on laptops.

Will there be a more basic mechanical keyboard coming out? I'd love to get an EVGA keyboard, but this might be a bit much for me.

Id prefer the scroll wheel from torq x10 and evbot. We will have to see hopefully it isnt exclusive to microcenter or something.

I'm also holding off buying any keyboard for this one... One to match the style of the X10 Carbon, I am hoping :)
