nah, I dont ever use customers stuff. Unless they specifically ask me to test it. Like the X99 Classy board I have yet to power it up. Batch #2 for X99 Classified boards has started. Shoot me a PM, or e-mail if you would like to get in on the second batch.

Hell, nateman i trust ya. If you want to boot up that little warmachines for a test, then go ahead. Im curious how that 5960x will work with CAD like programs. Was able to get a "free verzion" of AUTOCAD to learn structure design off paper.

I use ProEngineer 5.0 for CAD, and Enroute4 for CAM programs.

Boxlid Be careful to not get alky or solvents on the sides if you give the blocks a quick wipe, might take off the black color. Great temps on 1.5mm padding too if you prefer more cushion for the... well never mind
The color will not come off. Delrin is the brand name for a plastic called acetal. Nate isn't painting the acetal, so therefore it is solid black throughout, as the color is integrated to the plastic when compounded. Here's a chart of common plastics and their chemical resistance levels. Acetal is the third column from the left. Alcohol won't have any affect on acetal (Delrin) http://www.plasticsintl.c..._resistence_chart.html The reason you see Delrin being so commonly used for something like a waterblock or other short run production, is that it is easy to machine. It's not too brittle and it doesn't melt as badly as other plastics from the friction of the cutting tool. Typically, plastic would be injection molded and not machined, but for small volume production like waterblocks, it's not feasible due to the cost of the tooling (the mold) which can cost $10,000 and up for something that size easily. This is probably waaaay more info that you wanted, but I work in the plastics industry so I figured I'd explain for those who are interested.
System Specs: Metal box with an X99 system, a bunch of EVGA parts, and some wires inside of it.

The gun coating, not the delrin lol. I worked for the facility where the Roush Mustang plastics were molded when I was younger, handled hazmat items and resin mostly and especially made sure nooblets weren't spilling the stuff in the parking lot drains

I'm betting if you started making the GTX 980 Classified block in copper you would corner the market since Ek is only making Nickle plated ......

Hardline fittings look bigger in diameter, and my 3/8x1/2 flex compressions are already close... Hope it goes alright, but may flex the cards around a bit.

Darn I had a similair build as your kbeaumont, Was going to use monsoon hardline 3/4, let us know how those extenders work. Might have to steal that idea, wish it was straighter and not the rugged texture.
