Lookin' good Nate.
You might consider a basic engrave that you can apply to anyone's easily, like this:

X79 Dark
1st run 2/5/2014
**Watercooled by Nateman_Doo**
or for the 3rd line, make a logo for your CNC business.... I think something like that would be pretty cool.

something like that, 2nd line will say 2nd run 2/15/2014 or something for the next batch.

Woohoo!! It's go time!

Payment sent Nateman.

Hopefully we'll get hold of them late this week, although I think early next week is a more realistic time frame. Let the engraving begin!

I've got 3-way 780 Classified HC's in my build. They are beautiful cards. You won't regret the decision!

I still need the address.  I e-mailed you yesterday i think for it.

I have been tossing around a logo for some time now.  Or even a "company name".  So far I can't think of anything past "Blockman Nate" (from the Get it Colder thread-they sort of gave me that nickname). I did have 1 or 2 ideas, but haven't really pushed myself to make them happen.

Simple txt engraving isn't really a problem, just time consuming for each person.

I was thinking something along the line of "Block Nateman" or maybe "Demi-God Nate Blocks"

Coming from a Marketing perspective, it is always good to have a name that is short and sweet.
It is much easier to logo design for a Name that is short.
I've actually been thinking of an identifier/ name for your products for awhile now and for me,
I keep coming back to the same one ... simply 'NateBlock'. In abbreviated form you could use NWB (Nate Water Blocks), or just NB if you like.
I've been in Signage and Visual marketing my whole life and this, to me seems like the wisest choice.
Just my opinion

I had some spare time and have designed a very simple logo for you if you would like to see it

Re:EVGA X79 DARK WATERBLOCK 2014/02/05 20:58:21 (permalink)
Asus Customer Support has let me down for the last time and I've been considering a Dark to throw this 3930K in; so I've spent the last couple of days reading up on the BIOS to see if it has matured since I last took a look.

I didn't plan on adding water to the MB (more out of laziness than anything else), but reading that the VRMs get a little toasty, now I want to. Also, I'm not a fan of the giant red E, even if it will be blocked to a degree by the cards, so that chipset block also is very enticing.

I couldn't find the pricing on these and I am interested. Will there be another batch made?

Ok, so this dude asks me to make this MONSTER top for the MM Ascension case, that the barbs go out the SIDE of the block.  What is he THINKING I ask??  who knows... but lets see if I made it happen:

Outer profile and holes drilled:

Inner chamber and inlet holes drilled & tapped:

Mounted:

Think the plug will hit it?  Lets see:

NOPE... but DAMMNNNN... close.  Half a days work to make that happen.

Interesting idea for placement. Hope to see the final installed pictures. Curious as to how this will assist with plumbing.

Great work Nate, although I don't see the point in it, could have just used 90deg fittings on the standard block,
doing it like he has requested has limited him to only using barb fittings.
Unless of course he uses extenders and I guess that is what I will be using for the Chipset block anyway ... each to their own

Seems like slots are filling fast and this is the 3rd batch if I'm not mistaken?

Re:EVGA X79 DARK WATERBLOCK 2014/02/12 06:50:02 (permalink)
Not yet.  The SR2 was my bread and butter for years.  It bought the second machine.    Now in order to increase production I am currently rebuilding my original machine that started it all from the ground up since it is unserviceable.  I invest every dollar I make back into the process.  Ironic, the profits of this batch went entirely into ONE 85lbs slab of steel for my new machine.

It took almost 2 years for me to build the second machine.  The success of this block will defiantly help with the second build.  This way I can do 2 batches at once.  Like people are asking for the ASRockX11 blocks, but they are so complicated and time consuming.  I will have a dedicated machine I can use for stuff like that, and my current machine for production runs like the Dark Blocks.

Either way, I am happy where things are going.  I have come a long way in the few short years I have been doing this here.
