New Rig Name X79GTX690Cruncher is now starting to come together now. Parts are listed on the MODS RIGS like above. I have completed the install and Setup the Primary and Secondary PSU of the NX 1500 and the 1300G2. Now installing the CPU Water Loop with 2 2x140 30Fin Push/Pull Fans Pre CPU in the upper most case the top one that is. The Main case has one 140 30Fin Rad in a Push/Pull Fans pre return to the Water Pump Reservoir unit Reservoir and Pump, RP-1250. CPU Water Loop ins now Completed and Leak Testing is in progress, so far No Leaks. x HAF 925 Transparent Side Panel w/o 200m Fan came today too. Used on the back side to help cool off the back of the X79 MB More Images on the way. All Images located at my Flickr Site. The GPU loop was on hold waiting for Koolance to get some 3x120 30Fin Radiators in stock and I ordered 2 of them and should be in next week. I have enough single 8-Pin PCIe cables for the 1300G2 so the G2 will power all three GTX 690 Cards and the NX 1500 the rest of the Computer components like the CPU Water Pumps DVD/Blu-ray Drive and SSD Drives and Fan controller and lighting. I will Benchmark with 4-Way SLI on the GTX 690 and set the 3rd GTX 690 for PhysX.

Leak Testing in now Completed for the CPU Water Loop. I can get about 2.7 LPM in the loop on highest setting of 10 but will keep it the setting at 9 that provides about 2.4 LPM. I know it is an overkill for the CPU loop but I have Two Dual 140mm 30 Fin Radiators in a push/pull coming off the Reservoir and Pump, RP-1250 unit to CPU then to the voltage regulator, they are mounted in top case and are pulling air into the case and out the top and rear of the top case. Then to a Single 140mm 30 Fin Radiator in a Push/Pull mounted in the Rear of the Main Case and is pulling air out of the case and then back to the Reservoir and Pump, RP-1250. I then have two 120 108 CFM fans mounted it the front of the main case pulling are into the case and across the Motherboard and in to the 3 GTX 690 and out the back of the main case. I am still am having trouble finding two I/O Shield Covers and a PSU Case Cover that can take a 80mm or 92 mm Fan.

Updated Photos. I have the GPU Water Loop running a leak test and clearing out bubbles. I am only getting 1.5 LPM Water Flow, I hope this is enough. I might be able to start up tonight and start Benchmarking. I am hoping that 6 Cores (X79) for 6 GPU's will get better scorers then the old 4 Core Rig (Z77).

Thanks Do to the poor performance on the GTX 690 Graphics Cards over on FAH I thought I would upgrade them the new GTX 980. So to start of will I do some benchmarking and testing. Then I will run some GPUGRID Long and Short Runs then on to the Fold. I hope by then FAH as all the issues worked out on the Maxwell issue Fixed.

Why were the 690's performing badly? Constantly pulling core 15's? I would think that on core 17 and 18 it would still work well.

Not really, maybe on GPUGRID zophar Why were the 690's performing badly? Constantly pulling core 15's? I would think that on core 17 and 18 it would still work well.
It was taking almost 24 hours to complete one Core 17 Task and Almost 2 Days on Core 15. I never did see a Core 18 on this Rig.
