I didn't see any similar questions, but forgive me if I missed one. As it says in the subject, I've got an E758 X58 SLI mobo, and I cannot flash my BIOS. I've tried burning to a disk, and using a flash drive (don't have a floppy). I can boot to the updater, select the version I want to flash to, but when I hit enter I never get the "Are You Sure? Press Y/N" warning, it just says "Please Wait", and never moves past that. I've left it sitting on that screen for 3 hours, and it never goes any further. Any ideas for what could be wrong here? I've tried it several times with no change. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you download the ISO,just save the file to your desktop, right click it and choose burn image from windows 7. You don't need to press any keys during the flash to make it work. Maybe try re-downloading it and burn it again? 132-BL-E758 - EVGA X58 SLI

Do not press any keys once the PC boots into the BIOS flash screen. Worked every time for me.

+1 Once you get into the BIOS flash screen don't touch a key. It will continue on its own.

Ok, I did this yesterday. I burned a brand new disk, booted to it, and didn't press a key. It still just sits there with Please Wait flashing. I let it sit for about 45 minutes, and nothing ever happened. Am I just being impatient? I'm not sure how long this is supposed to take. Thanks for the help guys.

hmm, should start after about 5-10 seconds. You did set BIOS back to default for the flash right? Try taking the battery out for about 5 minutes then try again.

I've tried with a SATA CD-Rom and USB and it still comes up as 8/25 BIOS 82. Any ideas?
