After discovering that my computer builder (?????) had put enough arctic silver 5 on my cpu cooler to build a small house, I attempted to cure the problem by cleaning the excess thermal paste from the socket. Even tho I was as careful as I could be to clean the excess paste, i am afraid something has happened to the system. Once I put it all back together (i put back all connectors as original, and attempted to be as static free as I could, the system wont boot.
It gives me the error codes, F2, F3, 68. Needless to say, none of these error codes are in the manual. Can anybody interpret these and let me know what the problem is? No signal from the video card, and I was reading the post codes fom the motherboard. I am afraid that the mobo may be fried, but I would like some more info before I pitch it.
