no keep your hat on, RAM III and Classifieds are both  not bug free. But point is that Asus unfortunately works in the moment just better.
Some of the bugs exist the same time like the 759 does which was the original Classified and I think that's not acceptable at all.
I don't want to argue in this thread which company is better because it has nothing to do with the OP.

May i suggest you learn to read before your come on here and slate or quote me.
NOWHERE did I say better in fact you can see very clearly in english that im not comparing apples to apples but mearly commenting on the performance that they have as a support department

Just look how the competition update their bios - This makes EVGA look like a joke. 
  
And before anyone starts to flame me about how the BCLK on the Rampage is flawed - The point I am making in this post is how hard Asus are working at fixing issues NOT what issues the board has.

Can anyone tell me why with a 975 in an E760 any muti higher than 25 (ie, 33 or 35) shows in the bios as correct, but once into Windows, defaults back to 25. This is confirmed by Windows itself and Cpuz ?

My point about the 990x is that the bios predates the Krakens release so we should be getting a new bios with update microcode soon?

Most of the Bios releases for AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 boards were updated a few weeks prior to the release of the AMD X6.  I think the industry tries its best to get support to end users prior to the hardware release.  But you are right, it would be nice for them to include in these releases a list of supported CPUs.
 
In any event, I updated my X58 E760 to the 78 bios.  I'll let you guys know how it goes when 'the kraken' arrives.

I'm running a 990X on a E762 with an old 05/11/2010 at the moment and no problems.
 
I do have an issue with some of my GTX580's, the Gigabyte cards dont seen to run at all, no video at all when I boot up.... no problem with the MSI cards

Wow I didn't know that he also left EVGA . That is a huge blow to Evga. Hmmm... not looking good for EVGA high end next gen motherboards. It's going to end up just like foxconn when Shamino left them to Evga.

Still hopeful that Evga can make better motherboards than Asus and other big motherboard manufacturers in the future but that is looking really slim chance.

One example is the X58 BIOS mess. Their own customers have to find the latest updates and integrate them in to the bios. For that reason I'm going to be looking at other motherboard manufactures too when it comes to Intel X68 chipset. Too bad it has to turn out this way in my case cause I love Evga as a company, but I am not going to get an inferior product if Asus or other companies offer something better just cause it's Evga.

EVGA used to be a great company (I've been a customer since early 2005). But after 2017 it went completely downhill. EVGA doesn't treat customers as customers, but as complete idiots! I used to own over 30 EVGA products (videocards, motherboards, PSU's and so on). Not anymore. #evga #pathetic

so after seeing people do 4.7 and 4.8 with less than 1.42 volts i think it is time for me to sell my 980 and get the 990 lol. my cpu needs 1.42 to do 4.6 and i would not mind 4.8. 200 mhz is 200 mhz =0)

It is not important to know why Shamino left, the point is that there was no equal replacement. And don't forget it was not only Shamino who left Evga, big part of the motherboard department left too.
IMO we can see the results for example in the BIOS updates
