Two Words RAID ROM errr Acronyms, same difference.... How hard is it to add? I hope the new RAID ROM doesn't get ignored like the Double Pump issue some have when VT is Enabled.

I tried modding the RAID ROM into my BIOS with no success so far on newer RAID ROMs...I get the stupid "Internal Error - PnP and PCI compliant BIOS not Present" Edit 1: Tried with the official Intel ROM 10.1.0.1008 ROM and no go. Size of ROM is 85K compared to 64K in the BIOS. Edit 2: Tried with an older 9.6.0.1014 ROM as well and same thing, same error. Again, size is 85K instead of 64K. Something more is amiss here. I think that the problem is with the size. Edit 3: To confirm that size is in fact a problem I went to load the last 64K ROM Intel released, 8.5.0.1030. It loaded perfectly fine and I am using it right now. Looks like EVGA needs to either fix or allow larger RAID ROMs than 64K before we have any hope of updating to any RAID ROM newer than 8.5.0.1030. There you go

After flashing my mobo (e760) to bios 77, the 'Turbo Mode Function' under the CPU Feature is greyed out whenever I change my CPU Clock Ratio to other than x23. I have a 950 and the stock ratio I beleive is 23. Is this normal or do I have to reflash my bios?

It's normal that Turbo Mode Function is only available at stock multiplier. Any other multiplier and it will be disabled.

Period. I cannot speak with 100% confidence for XE chips (who even runs turbo on XE chips ) but for every other chip this is 100% true statement.

I'm sorry can someone clarify - I'm reading all this stuff about the turbo and I have a question - does that mean that I can't run my good ol' i7920 with a 21x multiplier without modding the motherboard? Talking about 4-way classified here...

Strange because turbo was disabled and accessible before I increased the Multi BUT when i increased the multi from stock 25 to 30 it went from disabled and accessible to greyed out and enabled. And there is good reason to run Turbo while over clocking (over clock to power usage ratio) http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/core-i7-980x-efficiency,2590.html

Can I ****ing download the SLI3 BIOS FFS!? Been trying to get the ISO and the bootable floppy image for the last few days and neither of them are available, what gives? Also, before anyone jumps to conclusions, I've tried in Safari, Opera, Firefox, IE8 and Chrome, not to mention FlashFXP, FireFTP and FlashZilla. Think the links could get fixed sometime before the new BIOS is released or is that too much to ask... EVGA is losing it and their following, they're hurling down a spiral and letting newcomers take their place, tsk, tsk.

Hi all Well I have to admit that the next bios is taking too long to come out now.....3 months in between bios releases is way too long. Considering the issues the E770 has and that it's a relatively new flagship product from EVGA, I would have thought that any company would have been jumping to fix major issues with a flagship product and limit the damage reputation quickly. I bought EVGA products based on it's reliability, support and customer service reputation but now i'm starting to feel a little Im starting to think Mr Andrew Han and EVGA are doing the usual big corporate damage limitation thing to end users and that EVGA DO have an issue with their staffing levels on the motherboard team. http://www.evga.com/about/pressrelease/default.asp?id=81 Considering i have just blown the best part of $2850 on 3 EVGA GTX 580 graphics cards and a EVGA E770 motherboard i was expecting better product testing and excellent customer service & support. As an example the E770 Marvel SATA 3 Raid issues are a joke. Please EVGA to keep another customer from leaving your lovely ship...please please pretty please with sugar on the top release an updated bios that fixes the Marvel SATA 3 Raid issues for the E770 board. Thank you and good night

Not that there is really any risk to replacing optional ROMs in the BIOS as all it takes to restore things is just to flash back to official BIOS. Not saying I can give you something for sure, but maybe I can pull it together Edit: I was looking at the BIOS for E770 a couple of hours ago and it does not seem that the Marvell controller is loaded through the BIOS. There is however an entry for JMicron which is weird as I though that was disposed off on the E770
