I wish they would release bios revision: 75 this week on Friday or something. I like it when they add features while fixing other issues with this board. I'm going to stick it out with it and see if EVGA can get this one tweaked out with bios revisions this year.

It has one of best fixes ever by Evga. OK, for FTW3...yikes! But I am surprised you are waiting for that.

One of the main reasons I have stayed away from VT on this board, I find it easier to just setup a dual boot, even if you have Win 7 installed just stick a 2nd drive in a use EasyBcd to edit the bootini. I never liked VT or running windows in VT environment because you dont have the same hardware acceleration that you would in a complete install and yes you have to reboot to get to the windows XP but that’s a small price to pay to save your hard drive. And yes I agree they should fix this issue but I learned after my first Hard drive died about this issue and have never used VT again

henryvits What I would really like to see in the next BIOS release is an updated SATA RAID Option ROM. Even Intel itself has finally moved to the latest 9.6.0.1014 on their X58 board. http://downloadmirror.intel.com/19329/eng/SO_5456_ReleaseNotes.pdf +1 Then again people have been asking for ages... And nothing. How hard can it be? Please?

Anyone know of a place were they have all the Previous Bios Saved that we could flash back to? My update to this current bios has my SSD on port 0 dropping in and out constantly. I never had this problem before I updated, but I am looking to upgrade from my 975 to the 980x soon and this bios had many fixes for that so figured I needed it, but now I'd just be happy having a pc that worked, considering all this money I got in it.

The links are busted for the X58 SLI. None of them work (USB, Floppy, or CD). Any idea when this is going to be fixed?

Just to let everyone know, Kuriin's browser, Chrome, was preventing him from downloading the files from the ftp site. I'm not sure why that issue occurs, but using another browser solved the problem.

Just move on to another brand people, the only thing this board is good for is OCing thats it! Sold my EVGA MB to a buddy of mine and he has just 5 days ago just thrown it in the trash, the reason? Horrible raid performance. The cause? Ancient raid bios. This is ridiculous. EVGA is also still the only manufacturer with the VT issue & it's killing drives. I guess this board is not meant for people with Hard Disk Drives. And I thought Asus support was bad. At least VT works properly, and the Raid rom is updated. I mean how long has it ben fellas over 8 months since last bios update, oh wait that was for the Gulftown. Ok then IDK over a year since an actual bios update that pertains to the rest of us 80% without one? Who the hell just buys a MB just to OC it? Shouldn't it work properly? EVGA has gotten just like everyone else. They were great when they were the underdog but now that they are the big man on campus they are pumping out unsupported garbage. BTW EVGA is one of the only ones who went with the Realtek garbage NIC. Talk about cheap. Hell my Asus Rampage was cheaper, VT works without killing my Drives, has a real Intel NIC & it's even faster. EVGA quality right. lol Speak with your wallet!

There hasn't been an update in 3 months for most of us. All I want fixed is the Virtualization double-pump. How long does it take to fix? Do any other X58 boards have this issue? One of the reasons I left Asus to try EVGA was Asus would just abandon BIOS updates when any new board came out. Hard to say it's the same deal here, but this issue has been around for a long time.
