I buy the backplate for Titan X and some thermal pads to cool the vram on the back.

But one of the chips covered by warranty sticker, so that might not be possible to stick a thermal pad on it and I'm afraid of damaging the warranty sticker.

Even if thermal pad doesn't break the sticker, will heat transfer be impeded by the sticker (vram -> sticker -> pad -> backplate)?

Please advise on how I should best fix this problem, I don't want that one chip to die sooner because of heat compared to the rest that receives thermal padding.

Also is 1mm of thermal pad sufficient to connect the backside vram to the evga backplate?

Thanks in advance.

Hello STR8_AN94BALLER,

The thickness of the thermal pad is 0.5mm, that on all of our EVGA video card. http://www.evga.com/support/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=59335

So you will guarantee that if I buy 0.5mm thermal pad, it will be able to connect the EVGA backplate with the vRAM chips and backside vREG/VRM?
