Now all segment is covered with top quality.
SuperNOVA 750/850G2 cables are black, that's maybe nice decision for people who don't have plan to upgrade on sleeve kit later...
If PCI-E power cables are compatible with 1000/1300W models, maybe EVGA should think to sell only black PCI-E Power Cables,
2x and 4x(for one card and for SLI)...
Look, that's excellent idea, EVGA is really smart... black-green connector, necessary testing and for water-cooling build.
If you want to try pump, leak and flush system, that peace is excellent... All units should came with that and 1000/1300W from now.
I didn't saw black connector. Buyer of previous models should get that.  Maybe they could get that with sleeve kit.

Brilliant! Perfect timing too just as I was about to buy an RM750 and the SuperNOVA G2 platform has received excellent reviews.

I like that they are flat style cables too, alot easier to route inside cases, instead of the stiff thick ones that most psu's come with

It doesn't matter if the PSU's are gold or platinum rated...........in fact that is all marketing (Word edited out for foul language). What matters is WHO makes these power supplies and the design of them. These are Super Flower LEADEX based PSU's. Very high quality. That means voltage regulation is very tight and supply ripple will be very LOW. That's all that matters. These PSU's will be on par with Seasonic KM3 based PSU's in terms of overall quality and performance.

I put the 750 watter on my Amazon buildlist(wishlist) since I was planning on getting the older model. Thank god they removed the hokey looking handle though.

I agree I didn't like the handle on the first model either. Also glad all the cables are black instead of some of them being red.

Unpacked my 850 G2 about 20 minutes ago. It's in the tower and running. Thank you EVGA for ending my bad PSU streak. Third time was the charm.

I hate to trash talk Corsair, but two PSU's back to back, an AX760 and an AX860 from different vendors, both faulty out of the box... tisk tisk...

Do you guys think that a 850 would be big enough to run two 760 FTW 4g cards in sli and a 4770k?

yes easily, even 2 x GTX 780 and a 4770K could run on that.

Nice to have more PSU options! :)

I want to see evga do some 80+ Platinum PSU's though, only see gold ones so far.

These are NOT on par with the Seasonic Km3's...

These blow the KM3's clear out of the water!

Techpowerup's reviews of these (Leadex OEM versions) literally puts the KM3's to shame!  Not only that but they're cheaper then the leading PSU units in the same watt range, the Corsair AX's. which ARE the Seasonic's just rebranded as Corsair's; and these beat them by a mile!

SF Leadex do not put Seasonic KM3's to shame, that is a load of [link=mailto:cr@p]cr@p[/link]. BUt they are right on par with them. Ive seen "reviews", voltage regulation and ripple suppression, along with overall BUILD PARTS and ASSEMBLY QUALITY are neck and neck on them. You cannot go wrong with either.

And actually, the cheapest KM3's are from XFX. I got an 850w BEFX KM3 based XFX unit for $95 shipped after rebate. Try and beat that bang for the buck. ;)

Techpowerup's cherry pick reviews to me are worthless. Best reviews come from Johnnyguru.
