I wonder why there are still no in depth reviews of these units out there. or am I missing something, Jonny tested even the 550W G2 but none of these (10 out of 10 btw). just wonder...  update: JonnyGuru finally reviewed 2 of the new units. great results if you ask me, using the 650 P2 myself.  850 P2 scores 9.7 out of 10 http://www.jonnyguru.com/...;op=Story&reid=444 650 P2 scores 9.8 out of 10 http://www.jonnyguru.com/...;op=Story&reid=446

too new ? , too many products all over, too little time ??
I would't think they'd have changed any though , just a better efficiency ....

well I would push their reviews and wait with the 550 G2, if I was EVGA.
they came out just at about the same time, matter of prioritisation for sure.

I see now that it's very smart decision because EVGA decide to go with little smaller power supplies. 650P2/750P2/850P2.
I'm not sure is it possible 1KW version to be same size. For people who build Intel Xtreme in mATX size.
Because more and more people invest money in smaller RIGs, even with custom water cooling.
EKWB design some new stuff ideal for smaller RIGs.

Just picked up one of the G2 550 watt units, big reason was the 10/10 review on JonnyGURU. Glad I did, excellent unit.
