What SLI bridge will fit two GTX 780's on a sabertooth z87 board? Help a noob out =]

It should be the one that says 2 way SLI.

Thought it was also but on my board layout it looks like two slot spacing to me. I think the 3-way/2-way was the actual one to use. Can anyone with that board (tuff series z87) confirm this please?

So does the L.E.D light work on the GTX 760 card ? I just bought 2 EVGA 760 GTX cards and was hoping this would work with the cards ?

I'm not sure it does check this out at the bottom of the page, it does not mention the GTX760

It looks like they are 7cm (2.7in) apart. The pro sli bridges finger spacing is 6cm (2.3in) apart. So it doesnt look like it will work.

The board will come with a SLI bridge that will fit. I was just referring to the EVGA Pro Sli bridges not being able fit that board.

Your board has a two slot spacing so a 2way/3way could fit and I say could.
Firstly measure from the fingers on 1st card to the fingers on your 2nd card it should 80 cm
Make sure your system is powered off first, unless your using a plastic ruler.

It's nothing to do with  drivers.
The cards your using do not support the circuitry. It Only works on Titan, 780, and select 770's
There is no mention of the  760s
Read it here http://www.evga.com/articles/00766/ at the bottom of the page.

@ PointMan3763

FYI, I have the Sabertooth Z87 and the 2-way Pro SLI bridge, it WILL fit.  It has a single-slot spacing; spacing between the SLI fingers is approximately 65 mm, but it will fit appropriately without having to force anything into place.  I can't say the same thing for the 2/3-way Pro SLI bridge, but the 2-way will most definitely.  Hope this helps!

you can use two bridges side by side but I thought the 2/3 way would work on your board though covering the four fingers.

LOL with a little modding if you look real close now there is a sleeved wire  coming out of it that i hooked up to a small strip led like this one with sticky on the back

just grabbed a molex connector ran some sleeved wire to it and  Vooooila and it is something I can remove with out damage to the bridge

The only reason why I think the 2/3-way SLI bridge may not properly fit the Sabertooth Z87 is because if you refer to the first page, the 3-Way SLI bridge can accommodate 2-Way with DUAL slot spacing where the SLI fingers are 80 mm apart.  Like I mentioned above, the spacing between the SLI fingers on the Sabertooth Z87 is about 65 mm apart, which isn't too far off from 60 mm (the distance between SLI fingers with the 2-way SLI bridge).  80 mm is much longer than 60 or 65 mm, which is why I don't think the 2/3-way bridge will fit.  Of course, I could be wrong unless someone is willing to try it out and confirm it as I do like the wider 3-way SLI bridge and still hoping EVGA comes out with a double wide 2-way bridge lol.

Where there's a will, there's a way. Congrats on your modding It looks great m8
There was a mention in an earlier post on doing it that way for cards that do not have the circuitry in their cards.
And you have proved it works well done
