From time to time there are those wanting older versions of EVGA PrecisionX, and since EVGA doesn't have download links available for them at this time, but I have assembled a collection of a few older versions here here (updated link due to OneDrive changes) on my Microsoft OneDrive page that are for public download. The recommended system requirements and version highlights at the time of their release are listed below. It's up to you to determine which version will work best for you.
 
There's also the original Windows Arial Bold font file (arialbd.ttf) that some may need if the font file goes missing after uninstalling PrecisionX 16 (this issue is supposed to be fixed in PX 16 v5.2.2), and also RivaTuner Statistics Server v6.2.0 which gives on-screen display support in 64-bit games when using v4.2.1 of PrecisionX.

Some important notes about this new feature: If using SLI, please disable SLI prior to enabling this feature, you can re-enable SLI once system is rebooted. Please disable EVGA K-Boost before reinstalling, or uninstalling the NVIDIA driver. GPU Utilization will show as 0% when this is enabled.

After the problems I had with 16 I went back to 3.0.4 and it is working fine with the GTX 970 I installed today.  I know your question was already answered just wanted to add additional feedback.  The uninstall of Precision X 16 also created problems.....what a headache, thanks for that EVGA.

Yup, You can't beat the old reliable.

4.1.2 seems to fix at least one bug, is there a way to make the OSD text white and maybe bigger?
 

confirmed all issues fixed with 4.2.1 :)
 and thanks for info on osd customisation.

something seems supiscous, 4.2.1 is now broken with 344.75 drivers yet the changelog for these drivers is just game optimisation, so why would monitoring be affected?
 
Did EVGA ask for code changes to break v4?
 
Luckily fan control still works, gpu usage, temp and fan speed monitoring still works, but vram usage, power usage is broken.

I didnt mean deliberatly sorry, I meant maybe they asked for code changes to make it work better with the new precision X.  As it would seem unusual for the monitoring to break.

all this fuss I made and all I had to do was restart precision :p  Is all good again now :)

So simple of a solution.

Thanks bob for providing an option to roll back to the old, but in my opinion much better version. All my beloved features and customization options were gone when i updated to the latest version today.

It seems EVGA has completely dropped support for anything not 600 or above. Precision 16 doesn't seem to work right with my 450 GTS, it cuts the clock speed in half and games are unplayable like that.

Clock speed drops usually indicate a driver crash. Could you try MSI Afterburner?
