X16 still has some bugs but I'm happy about the overboost option, I'm no longer forced to use Classy Tool.

Questions:
1) If I use overboost, does the voltage stay at maximum at all times, including idle usage? GPU-Z reports that it's constantly at 1.3v but Precision claims it's at 0,9v.
2) Any chance of upping the max voltage, to 1.35v for example? I'm on water so temps are not issue, core and VRM are always below 50c.

Don't believe precision, ever. GPU-z is actually very close on my Ti's, when nothing else but the voltage tools are, so bank on what GPU-z says.

after trying every single 5.x.x version of Precision and having issues I really gave up for now.
I hope one day it will do everything it's supposed to, that day I'm going to use it again.
sorry EVGA.

What now it's possible without any mod to pump voltage up to 1300mV with Overboost?
Nice, nice, nice...I love that only available such option make me happy.
Example at this moment I don't feel that Radeon have some advantage with voltage slider any more.
Little tweak here, little tweak there, little in BIOS 1800-1900MHz memory, changing Power Target on 120-130% MAX...
I hope EVGA will continue to improve this EVGA Precision X.
EVGA maybe in future should leave some extra options in Precision X exclusive for their NVIDIA custom cards, same as MSI work with AB and ASUS with GPU Tweak.

new version working fine EXCEPT the OSD shows double what my actual frame rate. Go figure. Why is the frame rate display doubled?
My GPU is a GTX750Ti a bit overclocked, but the OSD is showing 200 FPS.at times. Here is a recent screenshot. BTW, GPU is not overclocked at time of screenshot.

I don't look framerate because VSync is On.
It would be nice if EVGA implement one Screenshot button maybe for EVGA Precision X and Monitoring software.
Than people don't need to print whole screen and cut EVGA Precision to show something...same as GPU-Z.

Is there something wrong with 4.2.1 to stop people using it? 4.2.1 is great.

It's nothing wrong with 4.2.1 only is old but still have all main function necessary for Fermi, Kepler and Maxwell.
You can continue to use him.
Only for monitoring must be used and Riva Tunner Statistic Server.
New versions don't need that. 4.2.1 no Overboost function, 5.2.6 have same as KBoost.
People like look of new Precision and want EVGA Newer Software for newer cards.
Every new series of graphic card bring something new and software follow that.
How I understand they try to fix bugs and 9-10 versions for 3-4 months prove that.
Software need constant work and update on Max 3 months.

Looks like after 6-7 revisions, Precision X is finally getting close to Legacy 4.2.1 in functionality............at least they got k-boost working again!
Let me know when Over-Voltage actually applies the +.12 volts, and I will download it, and test it.
Until they get everything working, I'll stick with the Legacy 4.2.1 version.

I installed the Precision X 5.2.6 and the framerate it shows is the double of my true framerate, any hint on how to fix that?

Dear,

I already complained multiple times about the annoying problem that after every reboot the OC profile and the Framerate target are set to off resulting in the problem that I have to set them everytime again.
This is still not fixed in this and the previous versions.

Nice, working much better than previous versions -- I'm glad to be back on EVGA software for my EVGA cards. :)

But for the love of god, could somebody please figure out how to code to the lcd monitor??  The "small" setting is still sending what appears to be 40pt font, I can monitor core clock + utilization OR clock + voltage, but not both. lol  I have to choose, because there's not enough room on a 320 pixel display for the giant font you're sending to it.  And not for nothing, if evga really is working on a lcd gaming keyboard, coding font size is the sort of thing somebody really ought to figure out before that project goes any further. ;)

*p.w. fyi, the string "<add key="/Settings/FontSizeKeyboardLCD" value="0"/>" in the cfg file has no effect (w/ Logitech G15).  The text displayed by the program on the lcd is the same exact size at "0", "1", or "2".

The Classified line, and like models, that are meant to support silly voltages, like 1.3v, without exploding from the stress.

HOPEFULLY, EVGA will put out a overboost "QVL" or something to show supported card for everyone.. Hint hint nudge nudge EVGA... LoL.

Personally, I'm amazed at how much whining is occurring. "There is a way to say things, and there is a way to say things."

@Those complaining: How about providing some substance/evidence based information that EVGA can act on/improve PX with?

Also @Those complaining: There's plenty of other tools at the public's disposal. (Afterburner, and the like.) Possibly even better than software based utilities are vBIOS editors, to make your changes persistent without the use of additional software.

... Some of you are acting of an age where a "Time Out"/Whoopin'/Choke-Slam should be warranted.

They have every right to complain, EVGA putting out all these so called "better" versions of PX, but it's only screwing up setups for the majority here.

I thank all those that are complaining : Makes my decision much easier without having to go through the troubles myself.

I stood with the old v4.2.1 but unfortunately I have to sacrifice the OSD that I rather have on BF4. I'm a fan of EVGA, so I want to use EPX
to match my GPU setup.

We should have a Poll on which is by far the Best Working E.P.X with OSD out now and go from there. EVGA needs to get their  together on that, 2015 around the corner!

BF4 console command perfoverlay.drawfps 1

can't help with the Celsius   I use realtemp to monitor and keep track of the current GPU temp, high, low and the same for CPU.

the only thing i really cared about for evga, was the frame rate target
osd is cool too,
but honestly
i have a 970, and like in old games like dishonored  a 2012 game i think,
i can set my gpu Negitive one Thousand Mhz for a speed of 324mhz and still get a full 60fps

i want an osd, for framerate and temp, and framerate target at 60,  so that my card will upclock and downclock as low as it possibly can AUTOMAGICALLY  so i dont have to deal with it, and maintain my 60fps

thats really all i want.

for the moment im using my regular msi afterburner just like normal untill this glitch gets fixed
i use nvidia shadowplay and afterburner for its osd.
thats really all i want

Some proper instructions would be nice for this software.  Overboost shows no tool-tip (I have a Classified so it's not an intended behaviour).

Why doesn't PX 16 let me control the voltage on my 780 Ti? 4.2.1 worked just fine.

I try to click on the "overvolt" or "overboost" icons next to the voltage slider but it doesn't do anything.

Thoughts?

Did you just try the slider? I had a huge post on the 5.2.5 thread showing that overvoltage does work. I just clicked in the blank area where the slider would show the level you are at, and it worked fine. Maybe give that a shot?

I don't have a computer at this time, (3930 bit it last night.) so I will test as soon as I get a chance.

dang..

Well this version is much better than the previous one it seems. Just decided to try ti and so far no major issues. My "alt+T" hotkey toggle for OSD ingame is working OK so far, although it's slow to respond.

So far not having issues with youtube videos crashing with this version so will post if I find any issues as I keep testing, but good job so far guys you're getting there I think.
