Mirror 1 and 2 don't work and I don't want the hassle of using steam. I tried steam and it completely shuts down precision in the background when I'm playing. Can you fix mirror 1 and 2 plx

Very nice app! Used it to see how much Vram I was using in BF4. 

Yeah this is a great tool for so much been taking advantage of it since i was running my dual 9800 gtx+s (maybe even before  that) and its been awesome. 
 
Got a question, have you guys considered making a linux version? I'm currently messing around with SteamOS and would love to have this since its always running for me while I'm playing games on my windows pc.

EVGA's new software has no affiliation with Unwinder (as I assume you know). So, no, RTSS is not needed and should be uninstalled for software conflict reasons. Interestingly, you have both Precision X 16 and RTSS installed (and maybe Afterburner also?) and are complaining about bugs. You clearly should fix your software conflicts before making bug reports.

OUR software conflicts? If the software worked on the first place, we wouldn't have any of these problems to report. Also, problems with past installations could be fixed via an updated installer that would uninstall outdated versions, or remove incompatible software. Also, a warning about what software is or isn't compatible with this software would be helpful as well. Either via in text during installation or as a warning when you start the software.
 
None of these applications should have any conflicts at all. Unless you run them at the same time, you should be able to use them independently of each other. At least, that's how other software works. Am I wrong? I can run two text editors at the same time, but if I use them on the same file, then I run into problems. I am getting kind of confused about all this GPU tweaking software going to hell all of the sudden. Does MSI Afterburner and ASUS GPU Tweak also use the same frontend/backend software? I recall somebody saying that this and the other two use the source code to some other GPU tweak software that is really old from the 90's. Maybe that is the problem? I don't know. nvclock and open hardware monitor SAVE US ALL.

Just so everyone knows, my PC laptop graphics card runs at 99*c at stock, the hottest any graphic card (If overclocked and or deigned for) should get is 90*c. for some cards or chips, even lower. My tower PC however, it ran no higher then 62*c in benchmarks at its stable overclock settings that i found. my motherboard can't keep up with the card at high overclocks, which crashes the benchmark. I ran into no problems however. i found my stable settings and i found my GPU purchase satisfying. :3

IMHO, this is by far the worst version of Evga Precision I have used yet. I do not like the UI at all as far as settings go, it is hard to navigate and mkaes the settings seem very limited, even f they are not. The worst part of this version 5.2.8 is that I just simply can not get the OSD to work with any games, no matter what I do. But, hey, I can monitor my screen saver though, which is the only thing the OSD works with. LOL. Definitely a fail on this one so far. I can see it may have some potential if the settings UI is modified, but for now I am certainly reverting to a previous version (Wish I could remember the number of the one I liked).

Having issues with OC and having the gauge not displaying anything. Also not sure if the profiles are saving. The icon changes colors when I right click, but since none of the numbers for the GPU and Memory clock speed are showing up.
I have attached a screenshot.

Hey bud, if nothing else, open gpuz and check the sensors tab to see if it is working. It may be a bug that needs to be reported.

 
Thanks for the advice, but I fixed it by uninstalling. Restarting and then reinstalling. Dont know why the clean install failed the first time.
 
Edit: Didnt notice that EVGA released an update to fix the bug.

I don't get how this thing works, but i miss the old version i was using for my 580's.. Wheres the overclock bars, and the graphs that show u the usage... I'm so confused.

the new precision x 16
My question is why is my EVGA PrecisionX running 2 servers  one of which shows on my task bar.
do I need them both servers ? I tried stopping the processes on them.  but they just restart.
 I un installed it and reinstalled with a clean install yet they are still their. So I am guessing there is 2 servers
how can I shut them off?  do I need them?
I ask because together they are using 5 megs of ram and when I run My 3d program Maya to render  in Vray or Iray
They raise to almost 11 megs of ram  each is this normal?

i like this tool, but please improve functionality of OSD tool.
If want an advice, try to add White and Black list option of process and let us make more customizations like change color, position, font and size

So i have a problem with multiple monitors when I have Precision X on the side screen then decide to go somewhere with my computer and not have that second monitor it will act like it is still on that second monitor, keeping me from being able to use it. Does anyone know why this is?
