Hi all, so I recently upgraded to windows 10 and have been fighting the good fight with 3D applications terminating and crashing left right and center.
This first started when I dove into Vanilla World of Warcraft only to have it CTD with an nvd3dum.dll error. Realising it was related to video I started the troubleshooting process.

I uninstalled the graphics driver and reinstalled them, no change, still same problem.
Reinstall with an older version of nvidia drivers, no change.
Reset of windows, no change.

Full clean install of windows and check after different software installs - this is where it got interesting. I installed nvidias drivers and checked, no problem, installed EVGA Precision and the trouble started so I immediately turned this off and tried again and lo and behold all fine. Seems that precision does not want to play ball.

Disappointing because I quite like precision as opposed to MSI AB, but guess I'll have to use AB till this gets fixed.
