Now we need color adjustment for the OSD, font size for Graphs.
Also, Java runtime is getting an OSD for some reason. It's a pain to exclude as every version winds up in a different subfolder.

How's the OC Scanner stability and CPU usage doing with all of these updates?
Back on 6.0.4 it was still very bad.

Font size! Awesome, specially for 4k from a distance (comfy couch pc gaming).

It would be nice if you guys allow to change the font color too. Sometimes white is hard to see. Keep improving!

I am still getting 3DMark (TimeSpy/Firestrike) crashes (oops an error occurred) with this version with the OSD on. And that's with NO OC. With OSD off it runs to completion. I went back to 6.0.7 which used to be fine for me but it now crashes with the OSD on as well. I think it's a combination of Precision XOC and Nvidia's 37X drivers causing the problem. Heaven benchmark runs fine with the OSD on, as do my games.

You should add the Bethesda launcher to the exclude list as well since the osd will show up on that like it did in Origin.

Re: EVGA Precision XOC 6.0.9 Released 2016/11/12 14:41:22 (permalink)
Ok guys I need some help. I have a question about Precision XOC? I have install the latest version 6.0.9. However I have notice this issue from previous versions, so I have to ask.

I have an ASUS X99 Strix Gaming motherboard with a I7-6850K CPU, using Windows 10Pro 64Bit. I have two EVGA GTX-1070 SC ACX3.0 Video card in SLI setup.

When your looking at the Precision display, I have noticed that my GPU Clock & Memory clock are at Idle for Video card "one", i.e GPU Clock is 240Mhz & Memory is at 405Mhz. On video card "two", it shows GPU Clock @ 1012Mhz and Memory Clock at 4006Mhz. this is constant at idle.

When you are do graphics or game Video, card "one" will go up at times, but then will drop back to normal, While Video card two is running constant at a higher clock. I've always thought it was Video card number "one", was the master and not two?

I have also notice when Precision is minimized, and you right click on it, and look at profiles. One shows +100%/0/+0Mhz/+0Mhz/67% / Two shows +100%/0/+10Mhz/+10Mhz/67%.  This is with both cards with GPU & Memory clocks at +10. Card one always show 0's.
This is in a SLI setup.

Would anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Re: EVGA Precision XOC 6.0.9 Released 2016/11/12 15:33:31 (permalink)
mkimbro,
Are you certain that you have sli enabled in the nvidia user control panel/ config sli/physx/surround?

in precision the upper right it has GPU's listed that are in your computer. Next to the bottom gpu there  is a small piece chain link. R cliick on that. It will synchronise your video cards. If there not the same clock speed precision will sync them to the lower speed of the two of.

The card order might be wrong. You have a monitor connected to the 2nd "slot" card. So much is accelerated in Windows that even on desktop the main video card has to ramp up.
It is a bit disconcerting as my 970 idles at 135Mhz on desktop while the 1080 idles at 240Mhz.

I have noticed that the gpu clock does not update in the user interface when manually overclocking. The voltage point update while the scanner is running but the gpu clock just shows the sane thing as the offset rises.

Re: EVGA Precision XOC 6.0.9 Released 2016/11/14 12:20:20 (permalink)
Precision OC 6.0.8 worked fine for me, in that I had no issues with automatic startup nor automatic fan control.

In 6.0.9, Automatic fan control does not work because Precision is not reading the temperature of the GAs correctly.

As seen in the screenshot, GPU-Z shows my 970 GA temp to ber ~ 107° C, but Precision 6.0.9 is showing it to be only ~ 41° C.  Screenshots were taken while playing Dragon Age: Inquisition with highest graphics settings.

FWIW, I just installed (~ 2 hours ago) 6.0.9 over 6.0.8 (with 2 reboots after install).  As of last night 6.0.8 was working perfectly fine, as my custom fan speed curve has it running at 100% ~ +65° C, and it was definitely screaming while pushing all that air.  Today, the fans are barely noticeable, so I started checking.

Also, still have that niggling glitch where my 560 Ti 448 Core is detected as a 560 in the top right of Precision, but at the bottom it says 760 instead of 560.

System specs are in my sig, along with the following info:

Windows 10 x64 version 1607 (Insider Preview build 14965).
DA:I via Origin (fully updated, no mods).
nVidia Driver 373.06 / 375.70 (Tried both).

EVGA PrecisionX Sever(32bit) process increases infinitely.
When I close this app, EVGA PrecisionX Server process are killed, but the 32bit process remains.
And the same 32bit process are added as new process on next launch of this app.
This occurs also 6.0.8, but I don't know about the former versions.

Guys how exactly is OSD supposed to work.  I've set it but it just doesn't seem to display any info in Gears of War 4, is this one of the excluded games?

Would really appreciate if anyone could list the steps to have OSD on.

Thanks.

The OSD doesn't work in Universal Windows Platform (UWP) games, games purchased through the Microsoft Store like GOW4.

PS Jacob; Time Spy still crashing with the 6.0.9 OSD on in Nvidia driver 375.95. Precision XOC still running but OSD off and no issues with Time Spy. I can't get Time Spy to complete with Precision XOC OSD on in any of the Nvidia 375.XX drivers.
