EVGA Precision X uninstall / install problems

Precision X crashed and wouldn't do anything without crashing.  So, I uninstalled it, and tried to do a fresh install, but, the installer keeps telling me that the old version can't be removed.  So, I looked in the control panel > programs and features, and...it's still there.  No icon, but it's there.  It won't uninstall either.  Says EVGA PrecisionX 16.msi is missing.  

The file is gone.  Can't uninstall the old version that seems to be hanging around somehow, but can't install the new version, because it can't uninstall the old one.

Help?

    What Version?
    What GPU?
    What OS?
    Did you run the install as an administrator?
    Did you clean out the registry of any EVGA Keys?

    Run EVGA_PrecisionX_16_Setup5.3.11.exe and stop.
    Look in your Temp Directory and you should see a fold like this:
    {A7D6DB73-A84F-4FC8-AB93-ADFA05DF1AB0} Or like this.
    In this folder you should see:
    0x0409.ini
    EVGA PrecisionX 16.msi
    Setup.INI
    _ISMSIDEL.INI
     
    Create a new folder and copy the above files into the new folder.
    Cancel the setup file EVGA_PrecisionX_16_Setup5.3.11.exe
    Then Right Click on the PrecisionX 16.msi and then click uninstall
    Restart your PC

    Try Revo uninstaller see if that works :/
