I monitor my osd very closely and I haven't noticed any unusual reading such as yours , but I can also confirm a major improvement in framerates and performance overall with the Hb bridge

Yeah it was a nice upgrade on top of an already nice upgrade haha. What driver version are you running? I'm currently on 369.09 (or whichever one came with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update). The issue is appearing even on the latest version of GPU-Z, which instead shows negative numbers...

 

Soooo....It's August already. When is the 1 slot spacing bridge going to be available? The Nvidia bridge is ugly. 

So how often do the HB bridges get stocked?  I have the Pro bridge but hoping the HB will get me better framerates.

Not very. Couldn't order fast enough last time. They sold out quick and I've been waiting over 3 weeks now with no new stock or even an ETA on when they might be getting some. I asked, no response.
 
Could be there having some kind of supply issues. I'm betting the profit margins on these are crazy considering the hardware involved so either that or Nvidia is twisting there arm because they want to sell more of there ugly model. You'll notice that they always seem to be in stock.

Well that really sucks.

EVGA PLEASE FIX THIS! Because you cannot reach demand scalpers are buying up all your supply and selling it at 350% over retail. This person was able to get 8 and so far sold 7 of them.

Well a good start would be 1 limit per household. Still not sure why they would have anything higher on something like this. Also, why don't we have a decent waiting list in action. The step up program, although I've never used it, obviously uses a complex waiting list based on stock to provide people on a first come first serve basis, relative to stock. Why not let your valued customers order them in the same manner?
 
I don't know. It's a pretty basic part. You can make arguments about how "cutting edge" it is but when you break it down to the hardware it's not that complicated. Obviously there is something choking up the supply lines and I can speculate all day but in the end unless Nvidia or EVGA want's to say something then were left waiting and wanting.

Nvidia bridge is awesome, at least with the FE cards in SLI, perfect fit and design... this is more like a personal taste positioning than everything else.

In Nvidia speak, 1 slots are 3 slots, go figure... Way to confuse the consumer.

Yep, nvidia counts the total number of slots involved, EVGA counts only the blank slots between the cards.

i cant run my 1080 ftw in sli because i dont have the 1 slot bridge lol :( out of stock all the time

I need a 1 slot and I'm on X99 so it's not just people with Z170 mobo's, thanks to Asus! I should've just waited for the X99 classified boards to come back into stock : (
