I found this guide handy when I had the original BIOS but when I recently updated to the current version R22 for my Z68 sli micro, some of the menus have changed. I followed the guide best as I could, but some things confuse me. When I try to set the vcore to 1.35 for my i7 2600k it says the volt is 1.399 and sometimes goes to 1.402 when running prime95. Is there something new in the BIOS update that I have missed?

Yeah, this guide should be updated with the new bios lay out or just address some of the complaints from the users. My new build is due on the next go around on GPUS/CPU's and I am not very happy with how things are turning out.

i5 2500k
eVga Z68 SLI Micro
2x eVga GTX 660 2gb SC

My little engine that could ;-)

I'm with the others here, I also have the latest R22 bios and having difficulty with overclocking my 2600K properly

see my thread http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=2030332

EIST is not disabling, cpu z still shows between 16 - 42 on the multiplyer which is causing the cpu clock to throttle down during stress testing.

R22 is crap, either re-flash back to A121 or use your bios switch to switch back to your other version.

Hello!
I have an EVGA P67 FTW (R22 BIOS) with an i7-2600 CPU at 3.4 GHz.  I run CAD, BIM, and Renderings.  The board runs fine, and the Main Chip stays cool with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo.

Although its likely time for an update, I'd like to try to use an "Overclock."  Perhaps I could go from 3.4 to 4.6 or 4.8.  The guides for such a maneuver are a few years old.  Could someone kindly walk me through the process of using the BIOS to overclock?  There are no directions whatsoever available for such an endeavor.

I feel a bit like the "Greatest American Hero," because I have this amazing technology, but lack the instructions to maximize its potential.  Sincere thanks,  Chris.
