So it may be an SLI issue with my DarkTitan Rig or the Current Drivers.

Is there a way to select the Vid card that this runs on?   It keeps defaulting to my GTX780SC which is my PhysX card instead of my 980SC and I can't seem to find a way to select the 980.

    Well now this is odd.

When running any test now it flickers like MAD and I can see the "skeleton" of the image.  (Like, in the donut, it flickers but there is a solid grey circle inside the donut that I can always see.)  Also, it garbles the text something fierce.

This happens in windowed as well as full screen mode, and with AA on and off.

Screenshots don't show the flicker obviously, or the "skeleton" for some reason, but it at least shows the garbled mess where the text should be.

All test show nothing if artifact scanner is enabled, if disabled they work fine.

I got same problem as your!! You need download NVIDIA Inspector  1.9.7.3 Tool > here and run extract then do run NVIDIA Inspector....If you have this already then do follow below....
Open Driver 'Profiles Settings' small icon button on the right middle type find EVGA OC Scanner in Profiles box or scroll down find this OC Scanner then do delete 'EVGA OC Scanner' only then hit Apply button on top right then close NVIDA Inspector program and do run test EVGA OC Scanner!! It will work into SLI too...
    It should solve your problem!!

P.S Please do not add EVGA OC Scanner in your NVIDIA Control panel > Manage 3D settings > Prgroam Setting!!! It will cause flick.....Good luck
Let us know how getting on

All test show nothing if artifact scanner is enabled, if disabled they work fine.

What do you mean by 'nothing'? Solid color? Blank? Or static image? If you mean static image, that is normal since the image cannot move for artifact scanner to work.

I got same problem as your!! You need download NVIDIA Inspector  1.9.7.3 Tool >  and run extract then do run NVIDIA Inspector....If you have this already then do follow below....

I had the same problem (only happened with SLI enabled, though). Tried this fix and it works wonderfully. Although to get SLI working with it properly you also need to force alternate frame rendering in global settings in Nvidia control panel.

It's weird that the driver profile is causing this bug. I tried using NVInspector to reset everything in the OC Scanner profile to match the global base profile to see if I could pinpoint what exactly in that profile is the culprit, but to no avail. Seems the only way to fix it is to either delete the profile or to remove the OC Scanner executable from the profile.

I had the exact same problem with OC ScannerX and the flickering and garbled text during the Run and Benchmark and no image at all if artifact scanner was enabled....but only problems if in SLI enabled. I did the NVInpector thing detailed above and it seems to work like a champ now. I have dual GTX 780 6GB SC cards w/ EVGA 3way/2way SLI Bridge on a Gigabyte GA-X99-Gaming G1 mobo and EVGA 1200w psu. EDIT: Actually I take that back....OC ScannerX does 'mostly' work now with SLI during Run and Benchmark, since I did the NVInspector thing....but I just noticed that the image stops moving or animating, but all the text numbers and graphs keep moving, after about a minute or so. I just noticed that while typing this comment. I thought I really had it licked. So......I unchecked the artifact scanner box and and ran for several minutes and it's working through it. So, maybe something still a bit fishy with all this.

Like ty_ger mentioned above, when you enable the artifact scanner the image will not move. This is normal. However, the image shouldn't move at first and then stop after a minute; it should just always be a static image.

yes static. but I could have swore they were animating for a bit of time and then stopped when artifact scanning was enabled?? I guess not though. thanks. that's good to know.

I am having the Flickering/Artifact/Garbled text issues in OC Scanner as well... only difference is I cannot fix it.
I have spent an exorbitant amount of time trying to solve this problem to no avail. Single GPU, both of my cards work flawlessly, infact I got lucky on both of my cards it seems temperature, default voltage, and temps wise. (760's if it matters) But once you enable SLI all kinds of problems start with me. Nvidia drivers randomly drop my 750 card I use for dedicating PhysX to, and I can't get rid of the flickering/garbled issues either. I have used Nvidia Inspector to delete the profile, and/or remove the exe. I keep having to convince myself that one of my cards does not have an issue by constantly testing them Single GPU, and in another computer.

Also before anyone starts yelling about having 3 cards... I have an X99 with 5820k, and all 3 cards are getting 8x lanes and have no bios issues. I also have a Corsair RM 1000W PSU.

I use GPU-Z and compare with ocscanner x for result on temp for both card (GTX980 SLI). Noticed that GPU1 is GPU2 and GPU2 is GPU1. Chek that out.

Do you have any artifacts or any similar issues in any other 3D applications/games?  Because it could be a real instability and not a simple issue with OC Scanner.

This is a known issue.  It's actually an issue with NVIDIA's NVAPI which provides the program with the information.  OC Scanner assumes that NVIDIA's driver is correct; but actually NVIDIA's driver is wrong.  GPU-Z does additional checks in order to fix NVIDIA's issue.

Don't you love the automatic assumption the evga is in the absolute wrong. Oh, and "check that out." haha!

At least it is an easy one to answer.

Having these artifacts in EVGA OC Scanner X - Furry E (GPU memory burner::1024MB) or any MB, artifact scanner disabled.  But when the artifact scanner is enabled OCS X doesn't detect it, counter doesn't increase.  I've also tried the test with my onboard graphics (HD 4600) and the artifacts doesn't show.  Pls help, should I RMA the card?

It could be a genuine hardware error or a software error. If it is a hardware error, it could be because your GPU is overclocked too high or defective. If it is a software error, you would need to do additional work to prove that it is EVGA's software specifically which is causing the error and is not a general software error related to your drivers.

On gpu monitoring, is it normal that it does not read the pixel fill rate and texture fillrate ? always stays at 0
And when not doing anything the current and max shows the right clock speed but the moment you start having usage percentage it's staying at example 135.

Is there a guide to using oc scanner?  eg what exactly is 'CPU burner' and should I run it straightaway on a new card?  Can't find a guide anywhere.  Thanks
