Is there a guide to using oc scanner?  eg what exactly is 'CPU burner' and should I run it straightaway on a new card?  Can't find a guide anywhere.  Thanks

There's no written one, but here's a video that may help:  http://forums.evga.com/EV...Overview-m1527529.aspx

looks to me like the software is very buggy I ended up rma the gtx980 ti classified because the PhysX 3 Fluids v1 (GPU) doesn't run or crashes the card. it knocks the core clock on my GPU to 595MHz and stops running demo correctly. Now I'm a bit upset.

I'll try this on my GTX 980 HOF edition. Sorry if I missed info. but will it work on GTX 1080 (Pascal)? I'd like to run my EVGA GTX 1080 ftu with it. Test I mean. Two seperate PCs one GPU in each.

1. Taichi z370. i7 8086k @ 5,2GHz Stable.
16GB G.Skill Trident Z @ 3,000MHz.
EVGA GTX 1080ti  FTW3. Acer XB270HU IPS 1440p 144Hz Refresh with G-Sync. PSU Corsair AX850. Cloud two cans, and Creative T20 stereo. Realtek HD on board sound.

So 2 things I noticed with this program  using the Julia 4d bench
1) I get higher scores with SLI disabled
2) My card speeds differ
I tried forcing Alternate frame rate 1, but that was even worse. What is the best SLI setting?
Now I see my card bios versions are different. I'm thinking if I flashed the newer bios on the GPU 1 the scores would be the same.

Bios are often different due to slightly different vrm or other minor changes. You could try flashing the newer bios to the second card, but make sure you save all bios options first, just in case you need to reload the bios.

As for speeds, the bios likely will do nothing for them. Especially if gpu boost is already boosting the cards above stock speeds. When i click you image, it says file not found.

Strange, I have to right click the icon and open it in another tab to see it myself. Actually I just edited and re-positioned and it works now.
I just extracted & compared both of the card's bios and saw no difference. I read here recently there is a nVidia CP setting which can cause one to read slightly lower.
