It says it under features but Im testing my 980s OC stability and it crashes immediately after starting test with TDR if i run each card individually the test run every time i start it. I just cant run this test with SLI on sometimes it start fine and others i get TDR so IDK if its one of my cards/PSU or this software. Ive ran other stability software like heaven fine but i know some stress test might be more thorough than others. Ive tried different drivers, down clocking CPU/GPUs only happens when SLI is enabled and the crash is immediate not over time. Can anyone test with SLI just run stress for couple sec and exit and restart test do it like 5 times in row and and post back if it crashes or not , thanks link http://www.evga.com/ocscanner/ settings im using edit i can run SLI in windowed fine but not fullscreen Also when i can get it running in SLI the EVGA on top right is all messed up looking http://i.imgur.com/gOpy70Y.jpg Spec: win 8.1 5960x 16GB DDR4 X99 Pro 980 SLI Supernova 1300 G2

I just ran the test your pic shows and also a few others. No problem with running SLI here. I would suggest setting default clocks on GPU's, but it appears you've tried that... You didn't make any changes in the NVCPL's Program or global settings under manage 3D settings? For the OC Scanner, the SLI rendering mode needs to be "Force Alternate Frame Rendering 2".

Did you open close 5 times in row? Also Force Alternate Frame Rendering 2 is forced by default i tried 1 but same thing. I can run heaven and firestrike till blue in face fine i can game with BF4 and other games fine but couple games with known TDR issues with lot of other so IDK edit also dont seem to matter the settings i can run lowest res fullscreen and TDR Runs fine windowed And when i can get it running fullscreen/SLI the EVGA icon is all messed up. http://i.imgur.com/gOpy70Y.jpg

Don't know why you'd open & close it 5 times in row before running it, but I tried it, no issue's. I see your logo in pic. Mine looks normal. Have you tried uninstalling/ re-installing yet to see if it fixes it? I also tried different resolutions, windowed & non windowed mode, all good... With everything else on your system running good, I would think it would be the OC scanner software.

I can replicate the issues opening closing. It doesn't take 5 times it could happen right away. My system seems to be running good those couple game in question when i played farcry 4 after while it would TDR not always but seems to be an issue with others also. And mortal kombat x when i play online sometimes i get TDR but so do a lot of others. This its a new game so it could be the game needs patching. I figured id give this program a shot and making me paranoid now. Its really weird im just going to uninstall it and move on and assume this program has issues with my setup/ Thanks for heads up

Do you have another SLI bridge? That may be where your issues are.

I tried cleaning the bridge, connectors on cards tried both left and right sides. Its kind of hike to get new SLI bridge next time i take trip to microcenter ill grab one. I can also tell when its going to work because it initializes particle buffers pretty quick. And when it wont work its little slower initializing this makes be believe might be software or driver for this particular program with my set up.

Tried new SLI bridge no go. Can someone with x99/980 SLI test for me edit My friend picked up 980 and tested his with each of my cards and still happens its not my cards. And also dawned on me this uses OpenGL and SLI plus OpenGL can be problematic with it

Demo23019, I've been having the same issue, But I have 2x 970 ssc's. I have no problem running 3d Mark, games, etc. I wanted to take testing a step futher and try out Evga Oc Scanner, and its been giving me the same exact problem as you. TDR immediately. Have not gotten one when fullscreen is unchecked.

I downloaded OC Scanner X tonight and I am also experiencing TDR in full screen (2x EVGA 780Ti SLI factory OC). I can run the tests in windowed mode fine. Anyone having issues find a reason yet? I will update here if I find something that fixes it on my end.
