Go to manual section, click cancel.

I have this same problem. I'm curious what is this manual section and where do I find it because I can't find this in precision x anywhere.
    Thanks in advance!

Try going into Windows Task Manager > Start Up tab and disabling OC Scanner if it is on there.

Well I had a solution, but it disabled OSD. I tried to delete the OC Scanner stuff from program files.

Looks like we will just have to close it every time.

Sure would be nice if someone fixed this or can tell us a way to disable it. I'd like to know what manual section and cancel are because there is nothing of the sort.

Harris, if you haven't found it: On the start up screen for XOC there's the yellow arrows that go left or right, click on the one pointing to the right, that'll take you to OC scanner. It has different modes on the left option, toggle right or left until you get to manual, if it says run, just hit run and then hit cancel.

And yeah, it doing this makes my OCD rage.

Same here.  I could never figure out what was triggering it since it seemed completely random.

MOBO - GIGABYTE X570 AORUS Master
    PROC - AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (NZXT Kraken Z73)
    GPU - EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra
    MEM - G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 64GB 3600 (16-19-19-39)
    PSU - EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G6
CASE - Fractal Design Meshify 2 Black

    I fixed it!

Don't delete the oc scanner files, you only have to delete 2 files. If you watch when OC Scanner starts, the program name will be in the window. I forget the exact file name but I think it starts with an A, and there are only two of them in the evga folder under program files. one has 64 on the end. Really simple. I just don't feel like reinstalling again to get the correct names lol. Everything works fine and NO OC SCANNER!

    @ Smoov_Operator

The file is called zx_demo_x64.exe deleting this file has resolved OC Scanner starting by itself.

@EVGA_Support - Thanks for referencing this thread this solved my problem. However, the fact I had to REMOVE FILES is a problem. The end user should NOT have to delete individual files to prevent Precision X from rampantly starting the OC Scanner. Please develop a better solution!

Yea, I switched to Afterburner a while back. I like it much better. Precision was causing issues and not idling the gpu correctly.
