I would love it if you made one. NKRO RGB backlighting. 5 game/macro keys along left side that could also launch shortcuts. A game mode to disable windows key. Function key that provides basic media controls. Choice of Cherry MX keys in various colors. Browns/Blacks/Clears/Blues/Reds etc. Heavy. I do not care if they have USB and or audio outputs. Must have a standard KB layout. Updatable firmware. Ability to store profiles that would auto activate based on running a program or game. Classified model could have an LCD screen that shows various data from EVGA hardware. No fans or gimmicky things of the nature. No key rows sunken in (sloping layout). No gloss finish.

I'd like to see an EVGA keyboard. Here are some pro steps they'd need to follow in order to make something truly awesome. Musts: - Backlighting with adjustable brightness, with ability to disable - Solid build quality, at least on par with Cooler Master, Filco, Leopold, other good brands - Full size and tenkeyless models - Macro keys on higher end models, with onboard memory and on-the-fly macro key binding - No macro keys on other models, namely a tenkeyless model - Blue and red switches available - Textured keycaps - Non-gaudy font - Detachable sleeved cable - Switches and keys installed on the keyboard surface and not in grooves, like Corsair models. - Media keys integrated into F keys (second function) - Windows disable keys - No ridiculous price point /boredgunner

heres my take on an evga keyboard: backlight with ability to disable and change color (although the factory default color should be red :D) cherry mx red switches wired have programmable hotkeys for your games, media access keys (internet, internet favorites, mail, pics, docs, etc) backlight led display (with same options to backlit keys :D)black main color limited lifetime warranty included with a 5 button wheel optical mouse (also evga) and of course EVGA's name on it
i am offended by your sig so you need to remove it.

Gimmicky things, as in fans that keep your fingers cool, ridiculous "gaming" fonts. Silly hand rests, a huge non standard keyboard layout like the Merc and Wolfclaw gaming boards. Anything that resembles a transformer, things like that. Lights I can live without, but they are popular, having the option to turn them on/off is a must. The media keys as a Func + F## is ok by me. Some like dedicated media keys, and I am not opposed to that either. And I agree - and should have been more descriptive in my original post. In regards to the lighting - The RGB would give the end user the ability to adjust the brightness as well as the color in the RGB spectrum to suit their needs. Or simply turn it off. Kinda torn on the LCD screen. I like it on my Logitech for some things, I agree most times it is a gimmick of sorts. I thought it may be a nice tie in for EVGA monitoring of hardware, on a classified line of some sorts. I see some things from others that I should have listed as well. I would expect a price range between $125-225 USD. And yeah, I do not see EVGA making KB's anytime soon. But it would be nice!

yeah but how many people would buy it if it had a limited lifetime warranty i know id be in for one as soon as i possibly could get one. i am not really hard on my keyboards and dont need the lifetime warranty but i do know pwople that are and have heard one person say that they would spend more for a keyboard and mouse with a lifetime warranty, not only that but ANY company that was willing to place a lifetime warranty on a keyboard and or a mouse would show they have the extreme confidence in their product and are willing to put their money where their mouth is i think a keyboard with a dual purpose media/gaming would be ideal also with a programmable display where you could program it to your liking (temps, date/time, or have it read a personalized message (big bold letters EVGA anyone ) maybe have the lcd backlit in a way it could be turned off, and have the option to change the colors the ideas are just flowing right now in terms of a keyboard and mouse combo, but i am also having ideas for other products like a fan controller, or a display creen for drive bays for pure eye candy picture a scrolling message in your drive bay or scrolling temps, overclock, etc. i would like to see a dual bay fan controller that is touchscreen, backlit and accurate from evga also, how about an EVGA ssd classified (480 GIG SSD

I'm the odd one out: been typing on an old Microsoft ergonomic keyboard for years now. Only way you're getting me to switch out of it is if either: A: someone manages to make a quiet mechanical ergonomic with n-key rollover B: I find an old straightboard (my term for standard keyboards) that is quiet and has the n-key rollover, with low cost or C: I somehow manage to burn through both this keyboard and the spare I have in case Microsoft decided to stop making them. Which they managed to pull on me. Essentially, I want a keyboard that, sadly, doesn't have much of a market, nor would anyone make one without it being a $500 custom job. And yes, I know there's some variation from the Model M era that is ergonomic, but that's both expensive and has noisy buckling springs that would guarantee I can't type when everyone is sleeping. But if EVGA could make a straightboard or ergonomic with quiet keyswitches, in a decent price range, I'd buy one. Just make sure I can turn off the key lights. Those things annoy me.

The angle of the left keys makes it so I can game for hours. A normal keyboard does not.

Solution: - buy whatever keyboard suits your preferences.
- buy a case badge from EVGA.
- stick case badge on keyboard.
- show off your new EVGA branded keyboard to friends and neighbors.
