Would be nice if the Notify me button was up so we could que up to buy... these are the cards I was really waiting for.

Yeah they had notify me up for about 5 minutes then it disappeared... only been waiting for this card to exist & be purchaseable for 6 months+, heaven forbid I leave the site for 30 minutes to do some things & miss out...
 
Isn't the entire point of the Notify Me system so that people DO NOT have to watch the site & HOPE they get one before it disappears?  Doesn't this entirely defeat the purpose?  I can understand not wanting to have thousands of orders for a card that is limited per-batch, but come on, you could've done Elite only or SOMETHING to get this to people that actually intend to use it.

Bleh. Out of stock already. I was ready to pull the trigger on a 3090 hybrid.

But I thought notify was to notify you when the next batch was available? So you don't have to watch the page.

True, Just my speculation, I feel they took them down because the HC/Hybrids models are going to have a much smaller production window before they stop making them all together. So they don't want to have a queue of 5,000 people if they're only going to make 3,000 cards in total for these models.(Made up numbers**) Just my thought on it. 

there will be HC with preinstalled waterblock?

Yeah, exactly my point.  This completely obliterates the purpose of the Notify Me system to begin with.
 
I just signed up for a Hybrid cooler, I'm probably just going to take the plunge & do it myself since I know my 3080 works perfectly, instead of chancing getting a card that dies after a few hours like a lot of the recent ones have been doing according to many forum posts.
 
I just don't get why they would just put it out there with no notice or no Elite Members first or anything, asking for bots to swoop in & take all the stock.
Betting EBay will reveal just how many scalpers "won" shortly, with their "Card will ship as soon as it arrives" listings.

@dabadger84 i don't think bots got so many cards with this notify queue system. Many spammed every card to make sure they'll have at least one. Once the first batch lifts off many will release their other "notify me listing" so the 2nd batch will most likely be bigger ? idk if that makes sense.

They basically used a notify button as a pre-order button for when the first batch will be available to order. They basically made it impossible for anyone to get this cards unless they happen to be incredibly lucky in the right place at the right time, or have the ability to drop what they are doing at a moments notice.

ugh. I missed it too. I also gave up my queue spot on a 3080 FTW waiting for this. I've also checked the site every day.
