hi guys, i just want to ask is the EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Superclocked ACX 2.0 4GB compatible with NZXT Kraken G10 GPU Bracket?
i already did the compability check on NZXT website, it said that the compability is still unknown*
so i'm asking here if someone know if its compatible or not.

    It is compatible.
    But if u want to keep the orginal heatspreader you have to do some small improvements.
    I installed the bracket just a couple of days ago after getting al the parts delivered.
     
    I can post a whole lot of info. But it is better to watch this clip about installing it on a 780Ti classy.
    Allmost the same proces. If you want to know more let me know.

    Has it made a difference on your 980 sc?

    Yes.
    The temps dropped 10/15 degrees and it is almost completly silent.
    I swapped out the nzxt fans for Noctua's.

    i have the same GPU.
    without the g10 the temp was 70C with COD advanced warfare ultra settings 1920X1080
    but with the g10/x31 it dropped 60C same settings.

    So you need a copper shim if you want to continue using the original heat spreader? If so, what were the dimensions of the shim?
