1060 SC in stock

Added it to my cart and have gone through the process multiple times now, only to get the page where I agree to the terms and conditions and find that I get an error message instead of the ability to select a shipping method.

Try a different browser.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately in the couple of minutes it took to switch from Chrome to Edge and re log in it went out of stock. I'm guessing that's why it was giving me the error message.

Any news when the 1060 sc will be back in stock in the US?
Also, will they be released to partner sites, such as newegg soon?

1080 SC appears to be in stock at Amazon. Was able to snag one. It says it requires additional processing time and that it is expected to arrive a day late, so I'm not sure what that would mean.

The situation with Amazon uk is farcical to say the least. I think I too will be purchasing my first non evga card for over ten years in the next week or two.

Dang, I am kicking myself for not getting the ones I saw on Amazon last night. Now all I see are cards marked up $40 from second-party retailers, one open-box in a Fry's 1.5 hours away, and a boxed card 4 hours away. :( Nobody else seems to have any 1080 FTWs.

A bunch of 1080's in stock via MicroCenter.  I didn't check for availability for different locations but via the web store, a lot are listed.

Nice sale going on at Amazon and Newegg for GTX 1070 FTWs (not the DTs) for $439 ($20 off).    Not sure how long it will last.   Newegg says today (Aug 3rd) only.   Oh so tempting!

I would suggest using NowInStock if you want to monitor where the cards are in stock at. May not be exactly real time but it'll give you at least some notice. Also, what are the "DT" models?

The FTW DT models are FTW cards that failed to stay stable at the overclocked rates.  So they configure them with the base (reference) rates instead.   It's like buying a base card, but with configurable LED lighting and dual bios.   There are various threads around that complain that this is false advertising and that the cards should not be sold with the FTW name.   Unsuspecting buyers may buy the card thinking they are getting the FTW rates, but actually they are getting the base rates.

There have also been some retailers, "Jet" was the last one i saw, that are selling them as a FTW, using the DT model number, but omitting the DT from the description/Title.  They've since fixed it, but i wonder how many people didn't pay attention to the model #, and how many more retailers will do that, either on purpose, or out of ignorance.

So basically these FTW DT GPUs cannot be overclocked much compared to other cards?     better to get an ACX 3.0 base model?    I do have 980s ACX 2.0 models that I was able to overclock nicely.  So I am hoping to do the same when I get a 1080

From reading, and other posts around - no, it just means that it couldn't hold the speeds for the FTW spec.  It may not hold the same base, but the boost would work, or vice versa. Doesn't mean it won't OC as well or at all, it just means that it wasn't able to hold the specified speeds for a FTW.

The 1080 FTW DT is available at Newegg for a pretty good price (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814487252), and an auction for the 1080 SC is ending on eBay soon, which has a great price so far (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Evga-Gtx-1080-SC-Superclocked-08G-P4-6183-KR-/302026654937?hash=item46523104d9:g:aW4AAOSwZVlXmmJm). I didn't get them, because I am trying to get the FTW or, if a miracle will happen and it will be available at places other than Micro Center, the Classified. Oh, and that reminds me that Micro Center have a few Classifieds in stock (the number in the parenthesis is the amount they have in stock):
CA - Orange Country/Tustin (OVER FREAKIN' TEN OF THOSE)
OH - Cincinnati/Sharnovillie (1)
Actually, that's it... I expected there to be more, so I made the list, but apparently there aren't. :P Here you can find the Classified's product page: http://www.microcenter.co...Card_w-_ACX_30_Cooling

Ok, seriously...
When will the stock be plentiful enough to be able to go to Amazon and buy a Classy or an FTW if I want to? Buying a FTW/Class feels like Im talking some radio call in contest.

NICE! Big help there, man. I used to live in Tustin a few miles from that Micro Center, and I'm not very far from it now. It's actually the only Micro Center in California, and one of the only ones on the West Coast. There's also a Fry's nearby, but that's the worst Fry's I've ever been to, and it's been that bad for years; the Micro Center in that area is definitely the place to go, even if it's slightly more expensive. So yeah, I did an online reservation and I was able to pick up a 1080 Classified after work. :-D

Yeah, I really need the classified to release somewhere I can actually get it shipped.  I just worry if it goes to Amazon it will be way overpriced.  The FTW card is still almost $200 higher than MSRP there.

Should Newegg (in the US) have EVGA 1060 SC models with the updated BIOS by now (when they have any in stock)?  I have an RMA # for an EVGA 1060 SC because I cannot update the BIOS (among other things) because I use an AMD chipset.  I don't want to send it back for replacement until I'm pretty darn sure that it will be replaced with one that haves the new silent-mode BIOS.

Thanks in advance!

What other problem were you having with your 1060 SC?  The BIOS update will eventually be fixed one would think, but that by itself won't fix your other issues.  You're lucky to have found one of those, all the retailers I look at are constantly sold out.  You might want to call and talk to someone at Newegg to see what your waiting time on an exchange might be...

I'm still running on the integrated graphics since my Win 10 upgrade last weekend and hope supply improves soon.  Or the 1060 SSC or FTW comes out and gives us more choices.

Thanks
