FYI, http ://www.nowinstock.net/computers/videocards/nvidia/gtx1080/ says that there is fresh stock!

Pv

I came here to say this as well! Too bad I haven't decided on 1440p or UHD for my new monitor.. so I can't/won't order yet. If I do UHD, I might do SLI 1080 FTWs, or single Titan X Pascal for the 1440p.

Anywho, the link to the direct product page:

No Hybrids in stock.

Any word on when the 1070 Hybrid will be available?

Trying to hold off buying a 1070 FTW for when the hyrbids come out but my will is fading.

ETA on 1080 FTW Hybrids?

I was curious about this as well. But I needed a new gpu to run my new Asus PG279Q, so I grabbed an in-stock 1080FTW instead. Luckily EVGA is awesome and sells a hybrid cooler. Unluckily, it's $100+ extra. Though I don't see where it explicitly states it will work with the 08G-P4-6286-KR (ACX FTW), but it works with the lower end cards. I dunno if the PSU adapter differences are the cause, or if it will actually work, but it would be nice to see some clarity on that. My 780's ACX gen 1 cooler is still going strong, so not too worried.

It doesn't list it because it doesn't fit. The FTW PCB is completely different. As stated in other threads, their will be a FTW AIO released at some point as they already make the cooler on the Hybrid. It just isn't available yet.

I figured it was something of that nature. Thanks for the confirmation! I'll certainly keep an eye out for the AIO just in case it does release later on.

Looking at the 1070SC Black Edition.  Should I be concerned that there is no back plate?  Does the back plate naturally act as heat dissipation or does it limit it?

Back plates have been shown to be primarily cosmetic and act as protection of the board and may help with sag.   As far as heat, they don't seem to make any significant difference.

Thanks!  So the last time I bought a video card BFG was still around.  Everything is new again.  If you are looking at the 1070SC vs the 1070FTW they look very similar.  My guess is they will over clock similarly.  I don't care about the lighting on the card.  I'm going to put this in the Razer Core so performance first of course but after that I want quiet and cool.  That being said which card is preferable?  I don't care about the $$$ diff.  How much should I care about 2 vs 1 bios chips, 8 + 8 pin vs 8 pin and 215w vs 170w?

Holy flying dog crap what the hell is taking so long to get the 1080 Hybrid in stock or even listed on the big sites?! People are talking about how they wanted the EVGA hybrid but it took so long to show it's face so they went with the MSI.

I never heard of this site before today, but for anyone who really wants an EVGA hybrid 1080...can pre-order here with no estimated shipping date for over $200 more than EVGA's site.  Why are they re-stocking before EVGA??

can you confirm if Amazon (UK) will be stocking the EVGA 1060ftw?  Currently only a re-seller sells this and non of their customer service reps are able to confirm.

They aren't. Plenty of sellers like this around on Amazon too - they make out like they have stock, charge WAY above retail cost, take your money and then 'apologize' for the 'unforeseen' delays, will stall when you ask for your money back, and then when stock becomes available through legit retailers they try to snatch it all up and then start shipping them out at a nice tidy profit. Happens all the time.

Hey guys. Installed my 1070 FTW on tuesday.

Today I started to have random flickering when on 144hz. This did not happen on tuesday or yesterday. I'm using a dual monitor setup (1080p 144hz + 1440x900 60hz), and 372.70 drivers.

Is the 144hz flickering still an unresolved issue?

That's VULGAR LANGUAGE REMOVED riddiculous!
No GTX 1060 FTW+ in stock in Europe since it appeared on the page, and now all other 1060s and 1070s are out of stock!
What the heck, EVGA?!?
EDIT: I just checked. No 1080s as well. I'm salty, because I wanted to get GTX 1060 FTW+ for acx 3.0 cooling, and it wasn't restocked since it appeared on european store page (which was last month I think). Come on, EVGA, step up your game. I really want to get a card from you guys since I'm putting my first PC together and I want good stuff inside :/

Often times items are put on the site before they are available to alert consumers they are on the way. Be patient.

Any update to the ETA for the 1080 Hybrid becoming in stock? Just wondering, I'm going to be selling my I7-5930K and two 980Ti classifieds when I replace them with the I7-6850K CPU and two 1080 Hybrids. Thanks.

It's in stock now.

Unfortunately for me, that's almost exactly to the hour 7 days from when my FTW came in.. That's my luck of course.
