My order from Scan.co.uk has been moved for the forth time, now it's going to be the 15th of July. Pre ordered on the 28th of May. Shocking!
Any idea when they will be getting stock and why the delivery dates are never met?

This is becoming my daily tiresome ritual trying to get one of these cards. At this rate I won't even get one before the 1080ti comes out, maybe I should just wait...On the plus side I see that there are a few Fools Editions that are starting to stay in stock here and there so maybe there is hope of picking up a SC or FTW yet.

I just talked to the EVGA Support, and they said to check back around 1/2PM this afternoon. They said the "Pending Verification" status is normal, and the orders should be verified and shipped today.

Ah just checked again, my status for my new 1080 FTW has now changed to "approved, pending shipment".
Yay, finally have one of these coming! I got real lucky and saw Jacob's post in this thread right about the same time he entered it saying they would be available shortly, just kept pressing F5 for the product till they showed in stock and pulled the trigger - quickly.
Looking forward to next week.

Is there any word on when the plain reference model, 08G-P4-5180-KR, might be available? I'm not much into gaming these days, but I plan on buying a couple to drive the two, twenty eight inch, 3840 x 2160 monitors I bought a short time ago. My EVGA, GTX 980SC's are pretty good driving one monitor, but if I use both monitors, and crank them up to full resolution, it can be show a bit of lag when doing video editing or high resolution CAD work. I think I'm pretty good for now with the X99 board and 5930K processor running at 4.2 GHZ.
I'd love two of the 08G-P4-6286-KR models, but those are more money and the at the rate they are selling and the short supply, I think it will be months before those are available.

You should really look into getting a quadro line of card. Our engineers use SolidWorks running 4 4k panels with a K1200.

I am sure everyone is sick of hearing this, but can EVGA provide some input on what is going to Amazon and when? I preordered over a month ago, and it is getting very frustrating watching EVGA throw up stock on their website when they have preorders that are still unfulfilled at other sellers. To my knowledge, Amazon has not allowed anyone to purchase this item since Late May /Early June so I don't think new orders are causing the shortage.
Please, send Amazon and the other sellers the stock they need to fulfill their preorders before continuing these sales.

EVGA has always split the shipments to cover many sources at once. Amazon may have been given a soft date of when they could possibly get the first shipment in. The problem is, Amazon gave customers nearly the same date rather than stating an unknown until further notice. When a shipment to EVGA is delayed, you better expect that a shipment to Amazon will also be delayed. If evga doesn't have the cards to ship, how are they going to send them to Amazon? Also, when evga outs them on the store, they are usually shipping to other retailers also. Expect a delay for the shipment to make it from EVGA, to Amazon then get inventoried, then get the pre-orders that were submitted organized, then packaging and then shipping and then your account updated. Once the cards leaves EVGA, it's up to Amazon and evga can't do anything for you other than what they already did.. They said that a shipment had gone to Amazon. The other problem is 100 people posting non stop about how they want updates, yet they are flooding the updates that are being put out there, and noone is reading through every message to find the real updates

I think one problem is that there's no preorder capability with the EVGA store. Get a system in place that's capable of handling preorders, and let people know where they are at in the queue. It's pretty lame to post up +5 stock on the site and let people hammer it in hopes to get it, week after week. Get the right infrastructure in place to support your products and your customers. Spend the money on an e-commerce platform that better fits your customers and their needs.
Also, it'd be nice if EVGA would send out an email explaining why there is such an issue producing enough of this generation of cards, and what is being done in the future so that people don't wait months to be able to buy one after the release date.
I love EVGA products and have spent many thousands on them for personal and work purposes. You guys aren't a mom and pop operation these days, you're a global company. People expect more.

For anyone who back ordered a 1070FTW from NewEgg, I just got an email that said it should be shipping out in the next 24-48 hours. The status on the webpage lists as "packaging" and my payment has been charged. Excited!
