First off, I wanna say that I know I'm probably being impatient and I probably need to chill out but I can't freaking wait to get my hand on my new EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX!!!! Sooooooo anyways, I call EVGA customer service and ask a rep the question directly, "when will my graphics card be shipped?" I explain that I ordered it through Amazon on May 29th and was told that it would most likely be shipped to me within a month. I just want a concrete answer... I paid quite a bit of money for this beast and would like to know when it is going to ship. If anyone has an official ship date and could provide this information, I would be greatly appreciative... and less impatient. If not, well then I guess I'll just wait and see what happens. Thanks!

    Noone has an official ship date, as delays can happen due to weather and other unforseen circumstances.

    Amazon shouldn't charge you until it is shipped.  Did you mean that you are wanting to spend a lot of money?

    Cards being shipped to Amazon or any vendor for that matter and likely being shipped directly from the factory overseas in China or wherever they are making these cards.
    Also most likely they are being shipped by boat as it's a TON cheaper compared to air.
     
    So really all vendors and EVGA can tell you is they have cards on order..    your card is probably on a boat in the middle of the Pacific ocean right now.     :)
    Generally freight shipping by boat across the Pacific takes 12 to 16 days, depending on how fast the boat is.
     
    Of course EVGA can correct me if I'm wrong, but that's my guess anyway.

    Just saw today that yesterday was exactly one month since release, whats going on really?
