You might have some nice news this week

"We've had to delay this block just one more week."

I'm kidding, I'm kidding...

Think there is any chance of a hydro copper block for the kingpin 980?  (sorry if this is a newb question)

I asked EVGA and they said they would announce it on their site if they were going to release it but wondering what you guys and gals thought.

I would think that any extra coolers for the Kingpin would be  LN2 cups. There is no difference between the Kingpin and the regular Classy besides the amount of  power you can pump into it.
It's a waste of money unless you plan on putting it under a deep freeze. EVGA advertises it like a consumer product but they shouldn't, it's a benchmarking card, not a common gaming card and the only way anyone could possibly see any performance boost over the regular Classy is if they actually use it for what it was made for, Benchmarking.

Depend of clock, if clock is higher if price is not huge, if you get backplate and better VRM, RGB LEDs I can't see how much 30-40$ more can be waste of money. Same was with GTX780Ti Classifieid. Some people think we should stay without backplate, without Probe IT and other stuff only because that card is primary for LN2, even if she was 20e more in Europe, never mind, she is for LN2 and advantage of backplate and higher clock never mind for that...

Seeing as they've now posted pictures of the Asus matrix blocks before the classy blocks id say it's safe to bet we won't be able to order them this week.

So I put it all out there; how about a real answer as to why this block is dead last? I know I won't get one, but I am very curious.

Yeah delays. Why was this delayed beyond all other cards. The matrix hadn't even come out for how long after the classy? Lol...

Bitspower just got back to me and  is releasing one in a couple of weeks.... lol. About $30 cheaper or so with a backplate. A bit uglier, yeah, but same function.

Sure thing, right on Facebook.

"A Classy Bench featuring ASUS REPUBLIC OF GAMERS Motherboard & Quadfire GPUs! Completely cooled by EK Water Blocks and all assembled on aSpotswood Computer Cases, LLC bench!"

Four ASUS matrix's with EK blocks. Still no sign of the classy block and yes, I got excited when I read "Classy bench".

Less shenanigans, more release dates.

My bad, the quadfire did confuse me.  lol

I saw this here http://www.overclock.net/t/1540637/build-log-classy-bench-fully-water-cooled-quadfire first then the Facebook page but I could have sworn I read he had four matrix 980's in the ocn post, but I must have had another thread open and mixed them up.

The week isn't over. Let's see those 980 matrix blocks so we can get ours. ;P

@Ek_Luc. On facebook they said the 970 ACX are releasing early next week. Is the Classy releasing before, after or alongside the 970 block? Also the RVE monoblock is going on sale early next week also. Its going to be a huge week for EK

You joke with me, monoblock for Rampage 5 Extreme, CPU/Mobo in same time as with R4E BE?
Damn ASUS, I don't want after 5-6 years to upgrade on black/red again.
If someone notice anything about Rampage 5 Extreme Black, picture, teaser, rumor of rumor, whisper, I would like to warn me.
I build Ivy for 3 years, and X99 will for same period and maybe more.
