You get what you want, and what's compatible with your rig
If you wait, you only prolong the "longevity" of your specific card by a few months anyhow
You buy the Titan Black Edition, 3 months later the 880 Ti comes out and spanks it
It's an endless cycle, you get what you want and you satisfy that bi-annual fetish of flipping cards lol

This is such a silly rumor! Don't people realize that the 780 TI just barely came out? Look at the history of it... new cards are NOT released every 3 months, they never have been! Maxwell may be here in 3 months but bet your ass that any high-end Maxwell card to compete with 780/Ti/Titan is around a year away, maybe more.

You are completely right, Maxwell launched now can be competition only to GK104 and maybe similar to GK110.
Nothing spectacular, from other side Titan Black Edition is reference GTX780Ti with black mask and 6GB memory.
Ti Classified is real deal only I'm not sure any more normal or Kingpin Edition.

And for GTX580 I saw for 7e and for GTX780Ti KP Classified.

Uh, do you know them well? from what I understand if you use something like western union, there's no way to get your money back if the guy takes it and runs, best to use something like paypal, that has some protection against fraud.

That must be price under 70e, because over that I must pay custom tax if someone send, and if someone steal me 20-30-40e than I don't know, that can be some real looser. I thought to look some members with more than 1000 posts examples.
But backplate is installed on card, that mean I will not need that.

I saw your result, excellent cards and improvements is very nice over GTX780 Classified, if that is on stock settings,
example GTX780 Classified 2700 Valley, your card 3285
Heaven 4.0 1450 your card 1720... That is simply excellent.
I can't wait to my card arrive, most important is to give some normal official results.
That's about 3200 in Valley and about 1700 in Heaven 4.0 like If I saw good over net.

They test some BIOS, but what I saw some customers OC memory on +350/400 now and that's over 1900MHz...
With 1900MHz everyone should be satisfied, but if they give more, that's better.
I only hope they will not leave one group with better and other with weaker. That is not fair.
I didn't know no more Classified on stock, but that's always case because many people wait cards and wish cards.

This might be wrong but I basically always got told that memory overclocking doesn't really matter compared to core overclocking since memory Overclocking maybe gives one or two FPS extra

In games difference is really small, sometimes nothing, but can influence on benchmarks scores.

I see.

It's weird that people are having problems overclocking the kingpin's memory.

I can't go super high on my memory mostly because of heat issues.

Uck I need it to be january 2015 already so I can build my new PC.

The new 4960X replacement (5960X?) with those 8 cores and nice 32 gigs of ram again with probably Twin SLI 880 classifieds.

Not sure what to do on other parts. Are EVGA PSUs and motherboards good or not who knows what will be out end this year.

Re: EVGA GTX 780 Ti Classified K|NGP|N Edition 2014/01/28 05:45:49 (permalink)
EVGA PSU are one of best on the market, now same class as Seasonic, Enermax, CORSAIR, Super Flower, I mean in CORSAIR is Seasonic 90% and in EVGA is Super Flower with 9.9 score, maybe best platform on the world with Flextronics AX1200 and AX1200i...motherboards are not what people expect but X79 Dark and Z87 is different story and EVGA promise improvement on next generations...
It would be interesting what will happen with ASUS, I can bet hands of customers will shake before press buy button if Shamino gone...
That can reset them on Rampage II Extreme period... But some user here are very satisfied with some not famous EVGA motherboards as
Z77 FTW, few of us hold overclocked processor more than year 24/7...
I can't find good reason why you need to upgrade on Kingpin Edition, I would hold on GTX780Ti Classified except if you find some buyers and want something unique... Example I will not sell GTX780Ti Classified Kingpin and when time for upgrade come...and first generation of Maxwell is early maybe... You will get real improvement with series 9xx...I will upgrade platform same with series i7-5xxx Extreme and X99 chipset but not first month, 3-4 months after launch...

Is it a standard length Sli cable?  If so,  it won't fit because you have to account for an extra inch and the offset that the KP will take up.  If it reaches,  it will be stressing both cards and more than likely unplug or break the Sli cable. Either get an extended flexible cable or match the cards.

I am trying to optimize NVIDIA CONTROL for everything my game can handle. I have the settings maxed in-game when i try to use max setting in NIVIDA Control but still see aliasing issues something and shimmering/flashing shadows. Besides, i can max ~60 fps with ultra setting in BF4 (vsync on), but i still drop to 40-50 fps when heavy action such as car explosion or building destroy
My resolution is 2560x1440 ( Dell U2713HM)
CPU i7 4470k
Ram 32GB @1866
I am using AIR KINGPIN stock
What are the optimal settings in nvidia control, if you could go through it line-by-line for a max system ( GTX 780 ti KINGPIN)? I appreciate your help

I love this site and have posted many times - just cutting to the chase because I know the usual range of responses before someone kindly actually answers the question
I appreciate your help
And, as always, I have the most recent drivers, I know about beta drivers, please don't mention anything about drivers.

Recently I was using short one (60mm, third from left) and now I need to know whether the longer (first from left) match.

So EVGA (Vince/Jacob) have hinted at a BIOS update to get more juice out of the Samsung memory
I'm so glad I pulled the trigger on this card.

Me to, now every year when EVGA launch something, no more waiting to became available in some distributors and partners of our shops, immediately when show up in EVGA Europe I call and send money and wait to arrive...Off course I would like to live in some normal country and that card to arrive for 3-4 days but important is to I get soon... They usually bring after 7-14 days in that shop where I order... Now this is worse period for me... waiting and looking pictures of other customers... I must send message to remind to pack well as before...
When GTX780 Classified arrived I never saw such well protected package tables and tables of styrofoam from all side...30min pass until I saw EVGA box.

I guess it's not so bad paying the $50 USD shipping to UPS, then $120 CAD in customs to Canada.
I got it in 2 days. I'm really happy with it. Could be worse right?

I think that is not bad. I pay 8€ and must wait 4 days for delivery to Poland.

But all of you are in some kind of normal countries, Poland is EU, trading between EU Members no special custom taxes.
I must wait to people who came in Serbia every month once bring me... That price for Canada is not little but when you like something saved money can't replace you when look other customers how enjoy in hardware. For me this is best option, guy who came in Serbia because business every month and because have firm and office in Germany bring me and I pay to him instead to shipping. It's fair.

I know what you mean, few weeks ago I was in the same situation. My friend in US bought for me Humminbird 597ci, he paid 500$ for it. In Poland it costs ~1000€. My other friend who is traveling from time to time to US brought it to me without taxes etc.
