Why on the GTX 780 Classified w/ Hydro Copper Watercooler 03G-P4-3789-KR it only has 3 GB of memory and only supports 3-Way SLI?
The current GTX 680 Classifieds have 4 GB of memory and support 4-Way SLI.

No plans for Ultra Classified at this moment, we made a commitment a while back to show all of our cards on launch day. Whether it is available or not. So right now we have 2 SKU's planned.

For 780 Classified unfortunately the max memory available is 3GB. It will stay at 3GB for the foreseeable future. 6GB is reserved for TITAN.
Also, the 780 only supports 3-Way SLI per NVIDIA feature set.

I'm getting two of these bad boys as soon as the hydro's are in stock.
Will 3GB be enough VRAM for BF4 max settings @ 2560x1600?
What about at 4K resolutions? Is 3GB enough VRAM?
Thoughts? Speculation?
I ask because I was burned by the 590s, and now it's time to upgrade.

I'm desperate for 3x Classified 780 HC's, but no where to buy them?! Can anyone help out? Or point me in the direction of someone to harass?

Does texture fill rate or memory bandwidth have an effect on VRAM usage? For example, will a higher texture fill rate or memory bandwidth lower VRAM usage? Or are they independent of each other? I'm just concerned that 3GB won't be enough for 1600p or 4K resolutions for upcoming AAA-titles so I want to make sure before I drop $1700+ on these babies.

So we can have 770s with 4gb of ram and not 780s with 4gb or more? That's strange. Also does the waterblock fit the 770? I am considering upgrading my two 580hydrocoppers to 770s with the 780 waterblocks if possible. http://www.evga.com/articles/00748/#3777
