Hi guys, I recently tried overclocking my GPU to +50Mhz on MSI afterburner and it throws a driver crash.. I tried 40Mhz, same thing.. all the way down to about +5 Mhz it'll accept.. although I'm pretty certain it'd eventually crash. I've tested Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor, Unigine Heaven, Far Cry 3.. etc.. they all crash when the driver crashes.

What could be the problem? Did I just sucessfully pick the worst possible GTX 760?

thanks

Unfortunately overclocks are not guaranteed beyond the specs the card is designed to operate at right out of the box. Perhaps you can try consulting with our overclocking forums for any more ideas on what settings you can play around with depending on your experience with overclocking.

Does it stay at 1078Mhz at all times even while the system is idling?

Yes, with just google chrome open its at 1071Mhz, (not 1078 sorry).. When I'm playing games GPU2 boosts to 12xx Mhz and GPU1 stays at the 1071Mhz..
