so I have 2 EVGA GTX760 4GB cards. Neither card will register on multiple  different mobos.  I also have 4 EVGA GTX760 2gb cards that work perfectly in the same mobos.  Anyone have any ideas?

Can you fully list the system specs of a system that will not work. Please include make and model of PSU.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

I would reinstall nvidia drivers. Remove current ones in Safe Mode using DriverFusion (free verison is fine) then add the cards and install drivers.

    Have you tested if:

    each card works separately;
2nd PCI-E slot works? you can check this by simply putting a single card into 2nd slot.

Might be that you need motherboard\s BIoS update

    Board: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Edition
    BIOS: v1.9 Newest!
    CPU: Intel Core i5 4670 @ 3.8 With ITBoost
MEM: Corsair Vengeance Pro Red 4x4gb @1333mhz (1600 Stock)
VGA:   EVGA GTX 770 2GB GDDR5 SuperClocked ACX (BIOS #1. Up to date (2014))
    PSU:   Corsair CX750 Semi-Modular
System SSD: Samsung 120gb 840 @AHCI SATA III
Other HDD: Samsung 7.2kRPM 80GB SATA III, WD Caviar Black 1TB Sata III 7.2kRPM
    COOLER: Corsair H80i Push-Pull
OS: Windows 7 64bit Ultimate OEM

CPU runs 45*C on 100% load (Corsair H80i)
GPU runs 71*C on 100% load (stock EVGA cooler )

neither card works, separately in either slot or in SLI

I know both PCIe slots work because I am currently running 2 EVGA GTX7602gb in SLI format

I am running the current bios
