What's the holdup getting highflow brackets available in the european shop? I've been checking in daily for over a month waiting for these to become available so I can order one along with a backplate. Since shipping is so high no way I'm ordering each separate. I just hope the backplates don't sell out in the meantime.

Seems there's alot of backplates in the EU store, someone did say they were expecting brackets to come in in teh near future but I haven't seen any sign of that yet. I shouldn't think it will be too long though hopefully! :D

backplates now come with a second set of screws
all #1 phillips
i ordered two backplates
got 2 sets of video card screws
a COMPLETE set of two (one per backplate)
during the install only one bad screw so luckily evga provided a second set with an abundance to choose from but I think the threads on the PCB is what's causing the problem, not so much the bad screw
i tried 3 different screws and still had a "hard" time going in and out
oh well it's not like I intend to take them off
so be careful, it may not always be the screw, badily threaded threads on the PCB
I don't have the tool to re-thread threads and it's not a guaranteed fix either...

Hey guys I purchased 3 x EVGA GTX 580 backplates, and 3 x EVGA GTX 580 superclocked cards. They're going into a EVGA Classified 4-way sli board in a CM HAFX 942 Case. Will I be able install all three cards (with the backplates installed), meaning will the fit? or will the backplate block the PCIe slots

Looks pretty sweet, just ordered mine. Forgot how addictive these upgrade processes can be.
Silly question, but do ya'll think that I can use a metallic spray paint on this to get carbon fiber look to it? Or does that have some bad chemical compound that might affect it in a negative way?
P.S. sweet pics No_Limit, definitely helps justify the purchase.

Just some caps of my backplates :D   With the High Flow Brackets installed   With the adding of the backplates, high flow brackets and the spacing of the cards, my temps have dropped quite abit, especially in idle.

Just order backplate and highflow bracket. Even thou the delivery is so damn expensive.
Any ideas how fast Evga usually delivers things from their Europe store? (Im living in Helsinki, Finland)

I know, the delivery was £12.50! (around €15). In terms of the delivery, I ordered them on the 17th February and they arrived today; 21st. However, this did include a weekend and weekends aren't included in delivery schedules (as you probably know) so it was actually fairly quick. The backplates and the Highflow brackets came from Holland too. Although, this said, the delivery will no doubt differ inbetween countries, so yours may take slightly longer (or quicker!).

When are these gonna be available in australia?? I wanted to put them on and the hi-flow brackets, since I went tri sli to reduce the temp!! I nearly ordered from permanence-pcs.com, it's an American website that internationally. The total cost including US postal service express was coming up around $160!!! Are they any good?? Anyone know about this online store??? I see that they are located in palm bay, Florida!!

Otherwise I have a helper here "Papa look this part just got off from your comp, I think its broken" You can always live in hope  make sure to get your installation equipment ready! - get some pliers for the DVI screws, they are a must, unless your the incredible Hulk. (that is if you haven't already).

I like it  My 580's are clocked @ 850/1700/2100MHz and my idle temps are 33-32C for each card in sli (GPU fan@40%), however, I do have a large intake fan blowing air directly onto them as well as the other fans in the case. At load I get around 75-80C @65% fan speed thats for the primary card, whereas the secondary card always operates at 10C cooler. By the way...Enjoy!

Thanks :) Well, because of our babygirl, we have a little bit warmer at house (at the moment 23,5C). My idle fanspeed is at 38% and also my Antec´s 200mm casefan is set to LOW. At medium, it drops few degrees more, but I like more the silence. Also Scythe Gentle Typhoon is 1200rpm intake from front to GPU. on gaming, my max fanspeed is 69% and only Stalker got peak 82 or 83C, but never see any other games or benchies reach 80´s. Yup, I will enjoy. I think its a few beers and little gaming in the evening. Wife approved that :D EDIT: now back to 850MHz/4200MHz @ 1.050mV... fanspeed set to 40%, card idles at 36-37C ...I Love it  2. edit: I made 3 runs of Heaven benchmark 1920 x 1080... 4 x AA... 16 x AF... Normal tesselation max temps 75C with 67% fanspeed (room temp 23C) WOW!!!

Will this backplate fit on a MSI GTX 580 Twin Frozr II OC? I've read it uses the reference design, so my guess is yes. Anyone that has used this backplate on other then EVGA cards?

The Aqua Computer 580GTX block is not compatible with the EVGA 580 Backplate.
should have known that was coming :( what doesn't fit?
I should have taken pics! I'm sorry. I've contacted AquaComputer and they stated that they have no plans to manufacture their own compatible backplate for the 570/580 gtx.
The issues are as follows:
- The Delrin inlet and outlit interferes with the edge protector because it is flush up against the PCB board.
- the screw holes are too small in diameter on the backplate and the heads of the screws are too wide to fit inside the backplate's recessed holes.
- The mounting screws are also too short to pass through the backplate's risers and they don't reach the waterblock's standoffs.

It won't fit an EK waterblock either, for all of the above reasons.
